Trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina
Day 1: Arrival and leisure time
Welcome to Buenos Aires, Argentina! You will arrive in the city at the Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP) or Ezeiza International Airport (EZE). After you check-in your hotel, it’s time to relax and refresh yourself after a long flight. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the local area surrounding your hotel. If you are interested in shopping, we recommend Galerias Pacifico, a high-end shopping mall located in the downtown area of Buenos Aires.
Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour
Today, after breakfast, we suggest taking a city tour to explore the major sights and attractions of Buenos Aires. You will visit the historic neighborhoods of San Telmo and La Boca, where you’ll witness the iconic colorful houses and market alleyways known as “El Caminito”. You will also visit the iconic Plaza de Mayo, home to the famous Casa Rosada, the presidential palace from whose balcony Evita Perón addressed the crowds, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires, and much more. The tour will end in Recoleta, where you can find the famous cemetery of Recoleta, where many famous Argentineans have been laid to rest.
Day 3: Tango Show Dinner
After breakfast, during the afternoon, we suggest walking around the hip neighborhood of Palermo, where you can find plenty of boutique shops, cafes, and bars. In the evening, experience the Argentine tango, one of the most emblematic and representative expressions of the culture of Buenos Aires, which has been declared intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. You will attend a Tango show dinner, where you will enjoy a delicious meal accompanied by an exceptional tango performance.
Day 4: Tigre Delta Boat Tour
Today, after breakfast, you will head to Tigre, a riverside town located on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, where you can take a boat tour through the Tigre Delta, explore its canals, islands, and wetlands, and admire its unique natural beauty. You can also visit the Puerto de Frutos, an open-air market where you can find various handicrafts, souvenirs, and plenty of regional products.
Day 5: Wine Tasting Tour
If you are interested in wine, we suggest you take a day trip to the wine region of Mendoza. You will visit several wineries and taste some of the best Argentine wines. You can also learn about the wine-making process and explore some of the beautiful vineyards of the region.
Day 6: Day at the Beach
Take a break from the hectic pace of the city and head to the beautiful beaches of Mar del Plata, located a few hours’ drive south of Buenos Aires. You can relax under the sun, swim in the ocean, and try some of the local seafood, such as grilled prawns, squid, or fish.
