Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome to the beautiful island of Bimini! Upon arrival at the Bimini International Airport, we will transfer to our accommodation, the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini. After check-in and freshening up, you can spend the afternoon exploring your surroundings. The resort offers a tranquil private beach, relaxing pool, and a variety of restaurants and bars. Enjoy a delicious lunch, take a dip in the pool, stroll along the beach, or simply relax and soak in the sun.
Day 2: Bimini Nature Walk
Today, we will explore the island’s natural beauty on a guided nature walk. Our knowledgeable guide will take us through the mangroves and show us the unique flora and fauna of the area. We will learn about the importance of the mangroves to the island’s ecosystem and observe the various bird species that call this place home. After the walk, you can enjoy a refreshing swim and relax on the beach.
Day 3: Bimini Scuba Diving
Bimini is known for having some of the best scuba diving sites in the world. Today, we will take a trip to some of the best dive spots on the island. We will explore the beautiful coral reefs, spot colorful fish and maybe even encounter a sea turtle or two. The dive instructor will provide us with all the necessary equipment and guide us through the dive. This is an experience you won’t want to miss!
Day 4: Visit to Dolphin House
The Dolphin House, a unique artistic and architectural creation, is one of the most interesting attractions on the island. Built by local artist Ashley Saunders, the house is a tribute to the beauty and intelligence of dolphins. Inside the house, we will find a plethora of handmade artifacts and an impressive collection of seashells. The house is open to visitors, and Saunders himself is often available to share his stories and insights about the house, the island, and his work.
Day 5: Bimini Shopping
Today is your chance to explore the local shopping scene. Bimini offers a range of shops selling not only the usual touristy items, but also unique, high-quality goods handmade by local artisans. You can visit the Straw Market near Alice Town, where you can find a variety of handmade souvenirs, leather goods, and woven baskets. Or you can visit the Bimini Perfumery, where you can purchase all-natural handmade fragrances using the island’s botanicals.
Day 6: Kayaking and Paddleboarding
Today we will explore the seaward side of the island with our kayaks and paddleboards. Our guide will lead us through the crystal-clear waters, where we’ll have the chance to observe the island’s diverse marine life and beautiful coral reefs. We can stop at one of the nearby islands or sandbars for some snorkeling and shell hunting. This is a fun and active way to spend the day while immersing yourself in the beauty of the area!
Day 7: Bimini Big Game Fishing
On the final day of our Bimini adventure, we will experience some of the best big game fishing in the world. Our experienced crew will take us out to the deep sea, where we will have the chance to catch some of the most sought-after game fish, such as marlin, tuna, and wahoo. The boat has all the necessary equipment, and the crew will provide us with tips and tricks to help us catch the fish of a lifetime. This is the perfect way to end an adventurous and exciting week in Bimini!
