Trip to Exuma, Bahamas
Day 1: Arrival and Island Tour
Arrive at the Exuma International Airport, where you will be received by a representative of your resort who will transfer you to your place of accommodation. After freshening up, head out to explore the island with an island tour. The island has several points of attraction, from the Millionaire’s Row, where you’ll see the grand villas of the rich and famous - to the historic churches like St. Andrew’s Anglican Church - and the Tropic of Cancer beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas.
Day 2: Swimming with Pigs and Beach Picnic
Start the day by setting sail to Big Major Cay, located in the southwestern part of Exuma, with its known Pig Island Colony, where you can swim with the famous Exuma pigs! After spending some time with the pigs, head over to a private beach for a lovely picnic brunch. You can lay your towel, relax, swim or search for sand dollars before heading back to your accommodation for the evening.
Day 3: Water Sports at the Beach
Start the day with some adventure by taking a jet ski tour, snorkeling or diving along the island’s beautiful reefs. Alternatively, you can also try flyboarding, where you can enjoy the thrills of water with a boost of adrenaline. After water sports, unwind at Tropic of Cancer beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas.
Day 4: Culinary Tour
Experience the Bahamas culinary delights by trying local dishes such as the famous conch fritters, cracked conch, and Bahamian lobster. You can visit different locations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, tasting the best the island has to offer. Day 5: Relaxation and Spa Day
Today is all about relaxing and pampering yourself. Book a spa day or massage at any of the luxurious hotel spas or yoga on the beach for a more relaxing experience. After the spa, you can lounge around your hotel pool and enjoy some cocktails while listening to some island music.
Day 6: Cays Exploration and Snorkeling
Take a guided boat excursion to the many surrounding cays of Exuma. Soak in the sun, view the crystal-clear waters, and snorkel at Thunderball Grotto, located at Staniel Cay, which the James Bond movie ‘Thunderball’ famously shot a scene. Marvel at the best coral reefs in the world, teeming with marine life, such as turtles, stingrays, and schools of tropical fish.
Day 7: Departure
Sadly it’s time to say goodbye to Exuma. Depart to Exuma International Airport, where a representative will assist you in your departure formalities.
