Trip to Khulna, Bangladesh

Day 1: Arrival in Khulna

Upon your arrival in Khulna, you will be greeted by your tour guide at the airport. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in, where you’ll have some time to relax and refresh. In the afternoon, we will visit the Khulna Divisional Museum, where you can learn about the history of the region. This museum houses a great collection of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the rich history and culture of Khulna. Later in the day, we’ll take a Rickshaw ride in the streets of Khulna to get a feel of the city and its vibrant energy. We will end our day with a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Exploring Sundarbans

After breakfast, we will head to Sundarbans, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world’s largest mangrove forest. Once we arrive, we will take a boat safari through the canals and creeks. This adventure will offer you the chance to spot unique wildlife such as Bengal tigers, spotted deer, water monitor lizards, macaques, and the rare Irrawaddy dolphin. You will also have the opportunity to witness the beauty of the mangrove forest, which is home to over 260 bird species. After the tour, we’ll head back to the city.

Day 3: Shopping at Rupsha Bazaar

Today is all about shopping! We will start our day at Rupsha Bazaar, which offers a unique shopping experience. This market is known for its beautiful handicrafts, including pottery, textiles, and woodcarvings. You’ll find everything from clothes to home decor. You can also sample delicious local snacks while you shop. After shopping, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant and then head to the next shopping destination.

Day 4: Visiting Khalishpur

After breakfast, we’ll head to Khalishpur for a day trip. This area is known for its bustling markets and street food. You’ll get to indulge in local delicacies like fuchka and chanachur. After that, we will visit the Khalishpur Jute Mill, which was established during the British era. This jute mill is an essential part of the country’s industrial heritage. Later in the day, we’ll head back to the city and go for a walk in the evening at the Pashur River banks.

Day 5: Visit to Bagerhat Mosque City

Today, we will head to Bagerhat Mosque City, which is known for its rich heritage and Islamic architecture. This site also made it to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city boasts several well-preserved mosques and tombs, which reflect the country’s cultural heritage. Visit the Sixty-Dome Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques in the region. You’ll be amazed by its beautiful design and unique architecture, which is more than 600 years old. Later in the day, we’ll head back to the city to witness the nightlife and experience a lively atmosphere.

Day 6: Visit to Mongla Port

Today, we’ll visit Mongla, which is a bustling port town located near Khulna. Here, you’ll witness the daily life of the fishermen and how they earn their livelihoods. We will also visit the Mongla Sea Port, which is one of the essential ports in Bangladesh. The port manages the country’s import-export activities. You’ll learn about the port’s history and facilities while being awed by the large ships anchored here. In the evening, we’ll head back to the city for dinner.

Day 7: Departure from Khulna

Today is the last day of your trip to Khulna. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
