Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

On your first day, you will arrive at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados where you will take a pre-arranged transfer to your accommodation at the Carlisle Bay Beachfront Resort. Once settled in, you can explore the resort facilities, lounge on the beach with a rum cocktail or take a refreshing dip in the sea.

Day 2: Bridgetown and George Washington House

Today you will head to Bridgetown, the vibrant capital of Barbados. You can start your day enjoying a local breakfast before visiting the historical Bridgetown Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the western hemisphere. From there, you can take a scenic stroll around the Careenage, once a bustling port but now lined with trendy cafes and bars. Here, you can also choose to take a boat tour of the harbor.

Following lunch, you can visit George Washington House, a Georgian-styled plantation house where the former President of the United States visited in his youth. The house has been transformed into a museum where you can learn about the island’s 18th century history, including slavery and the sugar trade. You can enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many bars in Bridgetown’s St. Lawrence Gap.

Day 3: Harrison’s Cave and Animal Flower Cave

On day three, you can visit some of the natural wonders of Barbados. Your first stop is Harrison’s Cave, a limestone cave which offers electric tram tours through the caverns, featuring beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. The caves also feature a natural waterfall which you can witness during your tour.

Next, you can head to the Animal Flower Cave, the northernmost point of Barbados where you can witness dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The cave’s name comes from the sea anemones that inhabit the rock pools. Here, you can also get a stunning view of Barbados’ coastline.

Day 4: Scuba Diving and Watersports

Barbados is known for its crystal-clear waters and thriving marine life. Today you can take advantage of the many watersports activities available on the island. You can start the day with a 3-hour scuba diving adventure where you can explore the colorful reefs located off the coast of Carlisle Bay. Depending on tides and weather conditions, you may also have the opportunity to explore shipwrecks.

In the afternoon, you can try your hand at watersports like paddleboarding, snorkeling, kayaking, or surfing at popular beaches like Miami Beach, Accra Beach or Dover Beach. At night, you can enjoy a beach party or a Bajan street food festival on the south coast.

Day 5: Hiking and Nature Reserves

Barbados has unique landscapes that offer stunning hikes. On day 5, you will embark on a hike at the historic and tranquil Welchman Hall Gully. You will witness many species of tropical plants and fruit trees that are indigenous to Barbados. Local monkeys and hummingbirds are known to be seen during this hike.

Later in the day, you will embark on an upbeat Catamaran Experience excursion to see the sunset at the Carlisle Bay across the Caribbean Sea. Experience the waves, snorkeling, enjoy food & drink, music with other travelers, and an amazing sunset.

Day 7: Departure Day

It’s your last day at Carlisle Bay, Barbados. Spend your morning savoring the local cuisine or taking part in a sunrise yoga class. Later, check out of your accommodation in the morning and transfer to the Grantley Adams International Airport for your departure.
