Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Upon your arrival in Devonshire, Bermuda you will check-in to your hotel, and take some time to settle in and unwind. One great way to start your vacation is by taking a walk or grabbing a bite to eat at the beautiful Flatts Village, which is located just a few minutes from Devonshire. Once you arrive, you will be able to see colorful buildings, yachts, and waterfront shops. Along the coast, you will find the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo, so you can feed a parrot, watch the playful antics of our North American river otters or gaze upon giant Galapagos turtles. Day 2: Visit the Bermuda Perfumery
On day two you will visit one of the oldest perfume houses on the planet. The Bermuda Perfumery is known for creating unique fragrances from the island’s lush flora while still using traditional methods which have been passed down throughout centuries. The perfume house allows you to take an intimate tour of their factory, where you will learn about the creation of their scents and historical significance of the perfumery.
Day 3: Explore Crystal Caves
Crystal Caves are a natural highlight of the island that you should not miss out on. They are uniquely formed from stalactites (icicle-shaped rock-formations) and stalagmites (spires of rock-formations). The caves host a beautiful underground lake with clear blue water which will leave you breathless. Take a guided tour that will educate you about the geology and history of the caves. After the tour, you can enjoy a snack at the cafe while enjoying the stunning views of Hamilton Harbor.
Day 4: Day at the Arboretum
Devonshire, Bermuda, and all of Bermuda, in general, are home to beautiful parks, gardens, and nature reserves. Spend the day wandering the gardens, paths, and rivers that comprise Bermuda’s beautiful Arboretum. You can enjoy a picnic on the freshly cut lawn while enjoying the beauty of the botanical specimen trees, lawns, and plantings. Moreover, the arboretum is home to the Bermuda National Gallery, where visitors can experience the artwork of some of the most recognized artists in the world.
Day 5: Bermuda Railway Trail
Bermuda’s Railway Trail is the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of the island. The trail extends over eighteen miles, an abandoned train line that offers views of historic landmarks, breathtaking views of the coast, marine life, and wildflowers and is an excellent location for hiking, jogging and biking. You will be able to take in the scenic views, warm sea breezes, and the ocean that surrounds Bermuda.
Day 6: Nightlife
Devonshire, Bermuda is known for its exceptional nightlife, whether you’re interested in dancing the night away or enjoying some live music. The Bermuda Performing Arts Center is a must-visit for anyone interested in seeing local music and dance performances, as well as other productions by international talents. You can also enjoy a night at one of the many bars or clubs that populate Front Street, such as The Spinning Wheel, Dog House, and Blue Bar.
Day 7: Relaxation and Departure
On your last day, you will have time to relax and reflect on your trip. You can walk on the beach, take a sunset cruise, or simply unwind at your resort as you prepare for your departure. If you have a late flight, you can take advantage of the onsite facilities and activities such as a spa day, horseback riding, and a superyacht cruise.
