Day 1: Arrival in Hamilton
Welcome to Hamilton, Bermuda! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax and freshen up before embarking on your first adventure in this beautiful island nation. Today, we recommend visiting the stunning Horseshoe Bay Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This pink-sand beach is a great place to relax, swim, and soak up the sun. In the evening, head out for some delicious seafood at a local restaurant and enjoy a quiet night in.
Day 2: Royal Naval Dockyard and Dolphin Quest
Start your day with a visit to the Royal Naval Dockyard, a historic military installation that has been transformed into a cultural and cruise ship destination. Check out the Clocktower Shopping Mall, which houses numerous restaurants and boutique shops. You can take a stroll around the dockyard and also visit a craft market to buy some beautiful handmade products. In the afternoon, take an exciting trip to Dolphin Quest, where you can witness and even interact with the charming dolphins. Learn about their behaviors and observe them up-close, all while swimming in a natural lagoon. For dinner, we suggest trying out one of the many international restaurants in the area.
Day 3: St. George and the Unfinished Church
Today you’ll venture to the charming town of St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is full of history and fascinating architecture. You can explore the town’s narrow streets and alleyways, as well as visit the St. Peter’s Church and the exciting Gates Fort. After lunch, you can take a trip to the unfinished Church, which was supposed to be one of the most magnificent churches in the world when constructed 150 years ago. The church, however, was never completed due to a lack of funds and materials. Today, the unfinished church serves as a popular tourist attraction, offering scenic views of the surrounding areas.
Day 4: Crystal Caves and the Bermuda Aquarium
Today, visit the breathtaking Crystal Caves, which are full of stunning formations such as stalactites and underground pools of blue water. The tour is guided, and you will get to descend into the caves to appreciate their stunning beauty. After the caves, head to the Bermuda Aquarium to observe the country’s marine life and learn about the endemic species found in the reef. The Aquarium offers guided tours, and you can get to know the marine animals through live presentations, interactive exhibits, and touch pools. Day 5: Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and Elbow Beach
Climb 185 steps to the top of the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the entire Bermuda island that you just cannot pass up. You can learn about the lighthouse’s history and how it functions. After the lighthouse, head to Elbow Beach; a great place to relax while soaking up the sun and savoring the gorgeous views of the ocean. Swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing are popular activities here too. Try a dinner experience at one of the elegant, high-end restaurants in the area.
Day 6: The Bermuda Botanical Gardens and Flatts Village
After a busy few days, take today to relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Bermuda. Start your day exploring the beautiful Bermuda Botanical Gardens, which is home to a large variety of flora and fauna, including roses, cacti, and ferns. There is also a section of the garden dedicated to the conservation of orchids. After the gardens, take a stroll through Flatt’s Village, which is located between Hamilton and St. George. Check out the local shops, restaurants, and pubs, or plan to snorkel at nearby protected areas following lunch.
Day 7: Departure
Spend your last morning with breakfast at a local café with some delicious coffee and grab souvenirs at a gift shop before heading to the airport for your flight back home.
