Trip to Guana Island, British Virgin Islands
Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome to the beautiful British Virgin Islands! After arriving at your destination, you will take a short boat ride to Guana Island, where you will be spending your next seven days. Once you check into your accommodations, you can begin to unwind and relax on Guana Island’s stunning coastline. The beaches here are some of the most pristine you will find in the Caribbean. Sink your toes into the soft sand and let the warmth of the sun soothe your cares away. Indulge in the fresh seafood and tropical drinks at the on-site restaurants while taking in the beautiful views of the sea.
Day 2: Snorkeling & Nature Walk
Today you can explore the underwater world by putting on your snorkeling gear and discovering the beautiful coral reefs that surround the island. Expect to observe unique sea creatures such as colorful fish, starfish, and sea turtles. Afterward, take in a nature walk and view the diversity of the plant life on the island. Guana Island is home to over eighty species of trees and bushes such as the flamboyant, sea grape, and frangipani.
Day 3: Island Adventure and Exploring
Guana Island is home to a diverse range of wildlife and flora, and on day 3, you can have the opportunity to explore and enjoy it all. Take an island adventure to discover the natural beauty of the island’s on-site gardens, bird, and wildlife habitats and even hike the mountainous terrain to see the unique rock formations and panoramic views of the Caribbean sea.
Day 4: Speedboat Tour
On this day, you will take a speedboat tour to experience the best of the British Virgin Islands. Swim in the famous Baths, climb the granite rock formations, and take in the incredible views of the beaches in the surrounding area. Cap off the day with a sunset stroll on the beach, or relax with a tropical drink and a seaside dinner.
Day 5: Beach Day and Horse Riding
Guana Island offers a few additional activities to try. After breakfast, rent out horses and take a ride along the island’s beautiful coastline. Once you return from your horse excursion, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy a lazy beach day. Have you ever had a beach massage? Today is the perfect day for it. Savor beach snacks and cocktails on the beautiful white sand under the perfect Caribbean sun.
Day 6: Shopping and Nightlife
Take an excursion to Tortola, the biggest island of the BVI, for an excellent day of shopping and nightlife. Tortola features luxury shopping and exciting night spots such as bars, clubs, and live entertainment venues. Sample the exquisite cuisine of the island at one of the many restaurants on the island. Be sure to get some famous Tortola rum and bring it back to Guana Island for a nightcap.
Day 7: Departure
The final day of your trip! Spend your day packing and taking in more of the sights and sounds of Guana Island. Take the time to savor every moment as you relax on the island. When the time comes to leave, depart from the resort and be transferred back to the airport by boat, with memories that will last a lifetime. Consider extending your stay so that you will have more time to experience all this beautiful island has to offer.
