Trip to Kep, Cambodia
Day 1: Arrival in Kep
Upon arrival at the airport, you can make your way to your accommodation and settle in. Afterward, you can take a stroll around the town center and grab lunch at one of the local restaurants to get a feel for the area. In the evening, you can take a walk along the beach while enjoying the sunset and have a relaxing dinner at a seafood restaurant.
Day 2: Kep National Park
Today, you can head to Kep National Park, located just outside the town center. You can go on a hike through the forest and enjoy the scenic views of the coastline and surrounding islands. Along the way, you can stop by the Sunset Rock viewpoint and take in panoramic views of the mountains and sea. Afterward, you can visit the Butterfly Farm within the park, which has a variety of species and offers an educational tour.
Day 3: Rabbit Island
Today, you can take a boat ride to Rabbit Island, a small island located off the coast of Kep. The island offers beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear water, where you can relax and soak in the sun. You can rent a kayak and explore the island’s coastline, or go snorkeling and discover the marine life and coral reefs. In the evening, you can enjoy a seafood barbecue while watching the sunset over the ocean.
Day 4: Kep Crab Market
Today, you can visit the Kep Crab Market, a popular attraction in the area. There, you can witness the daily activities of local fishermen bringing in their catch and selling it to vendors. You can also browse the stalls selling fresh seafood, vegetables, and souvenirs. In the evening, you can enjoy a night out at one of the beachside bars or nightclubs in town.
Day 5: Kampot and Pepper Plantations
Today, you can take a day trip to Kampot, a charming riverside town famous for its production of pepper. You can visit the pepper plantations and learn about the different varieties of pepper and how they are grown. You can also explore the town and visit the local market or take a boat ride on the river. In the evening, you can return back to Kep and enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of the town’s sushi restaurants.
Day 6: Kep Beach
Today, you can spend a leisurely day relaxing on Kep Beach, soaking in the sun and sea breeze. You can rent a beach chair or umbrella and go for a swim or try out some water activities such as paddleboarding or jet skiing. In the evening, you can have a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant and enjoy a romantic walk on the beach.
Day 7: Departure from Kep
On the last day of your trip, you can take your time to pack and check out of your accommodation. Before leaving Kep, you can go on a food tour of the town center and sample some of the local cuisine such as fried crab and spicy fish soups. Finally, you can head to the airport for your flight back home.
