Day 1: Arrival

Day 4: Elk Island National Park

Take a day trip to Elk Island National Park, a short drive east of Edmonton. The park is home to a variety of wildlife including bison, moose, elk, and more. Take a guided or self-guided tour, hike one of the many trails, or participate in a wildlife observation experience. In the evening, return to Edmonton for dinner or catch some live music at one of the city’s many venues.

Day 5: Fort Edmonton Park

Spend the day at Fort Edmonton Park, a living history museum that recreates life in Edmonton from 1846 to 1920. Take a ride on a steam train, visit the Indigenous Peoples’ Experience, and explore the historic streets and buildings. In the evening, head back to the city and catch a play or live performance at one of the many theaters.

Day 6: Royal Alberta Museum

Visit the Royal Alberta Museum, one of Canada’s largest museums. The museum offers a unique look into the natural and human history of Alberta, with exhibits on the province’s wildlife, geology, and ancient civilizations. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic or stroll through the beautiful Legislature grounds. In the evening, head to Old Strathcona, a historic district known for its nightlife.

Day 7: Departure

It’s time to say goodbye to Edmonton. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport for your flight home. If you have time before your flight, visit the Muttart Conservatory, a botanical garden with four themed greenhouses featuring plants from around the world.
