Day 1: Arrival in Montreal
Welcome to Montreal! On your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel by private car. Check-in to your hotel and unwind from your journey. Spend the rest of the day exploring your hotel neighborhood and the city center, and get a feel for the vibrant and cosmopolitan vibe of Montreal. You can also visit Downtown Montreal’s underground city which is the largest underground complex in the world.
Day 2: Old Montreal and St. Lawrence River Cruise
Start your day by exploring Old Montreal, an iconic historic district and home to many historical buildings, charming boutiques, art galleries, and museums. Walk towards the old Port of Montreal for a signature riverboat cruise on the St. Lawrence River. The cruise takes you through calm waters and offers beautiful views of the city’s skyline, the Jacques Cartier Bridge, and the scenic La Ronde amusement park. The tour guide will provide you with interesting facts and history about the city during the tour. After that, visit the Notre-Dame Basilica which gives you a feel of Europe inside Montreal.
Day 3: Mont-Royal Park and Shopping at the Mile-End
Today, explore Mont-Royal Park and take a relaxed hike to the Mont-Royal lookout. It is a great opportunity to view the panoramic views of the city skyline. Later we recommend you to have a traditional Canadian Poutine in a local restaurant close to the park. After that, take a 5 minutes Metro ride to visit Mile-End for shopping local streetwear and vintage stores.
Day 4: Museums and Nightlife at Quartier des spectacles
Start your day with a visit to Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, which houses more than 41,000 artworks from Canada, Mediterranean and many more countries that offer a glimpse into the region’s rich history and culture. Later, head to the Quartier des spectacles for some live entertainment like festivales and theaters that this neighborhood is known for. Don’t miss the impressive light show that takes place in the Complexe Desjardins; it takes place every day after sunset.
Day 5: Parc Jean-Drapeau and Casino de Montreal
Spend the day at leisure at Parc Jean-Drapaeau. Unwind and relax in the stunning gardens or take a bike ride, just rent a bike from their kiosk with the family. This park also boasts its mini-beach, where you can enjoy swimming with your family. Later, head to Casino de Montreal, located on a man-made island in the middle of the stunning St. Lawrence River. It is the perfect escape from the world, where you can enjoy a variety of games and entertainment activities.
Day 6: Botanical Garden and Biodome
Visit the city’s celebrated Botanical Garden, which hosts flowers, plants, and trees are from all over the world. It’s a peaceful place to relax and learn about different plants and flower species. Move next door to explore the Biodome for an interactive, educational, and fun-filled experience. You can see penguins, otters, tropical reptiles, and many more animals.
Day 7: Departure
