Trip to Rum Point, Cayman Islands
Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Owen Roberts International Airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to get to Rum Point. Once you arrive at the resort, check-in and relax at the beach. You can also take a walk in the small town and explore some of the local restaurants that serve authentic Caymanian delicacies.
Day 2: Stingray City & Snorkeling Tour
Today, you can take a boat tour to the famous Stingray City and experience swimming with the friendly stingrays. The tour includes snorkelling and exploring the beautiful coral reefs, where you can witness an amazing array of marine life, including tropical fish, corals, and sponges. It’s a fantastic way to start your trip to Rum Point.
Day 3: Explore the Botanic Park & Crystal Caves
Today, head to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, where you can explore the beautiful gardens, including the colorful and bustling Butterfly Garden. Later, take a tour of the Crystal Caves, a network of underground caves filled with natural crystal formations and cave pools.
Day 4: Beach Day at Rum Point
Enjoy a day to yourself by soaking up the sun and relaxing on the famous white sand beach at Rum Point. There are plenty of beachside activities, such as paddleboarding and kayaking, that you can enjoy on your own.
Day 5: Island Tour & Beach Hopping
Take an island tour and visit some of the other popular beaches in the Cayman Islands. Visit Seven Mile Beach and Smith Cove Beach, two stunning beaches known for their turquoise waters and soft sandy shores.
Day 6: Sunset Cruise & Nightlife
Enjoy a relaxed evening of live music, cocktails and spectacular food aboard a sunset cruise. You can experience the beautiful Caribbean sunset and the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. Afterward, explore the local nightlife in Georgetown, where you can find lively bars, casinos, and nightclubs.
Day 7: Departure
On this last day, check-out from the hotel and depart to Owen Roberts International Airport as per your flight schedule. You can collect some souvenirs for your loved ones or buy some unique jewelry made of Caymanite, a semi-precious stone unique to the island.
