Trip to VIÑA DEL MAR, CHILE

Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Upon your arrival at Santiago International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Viña del Mar. After checking in and freshening up, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach or exploring the city.

Viña del Mar is famous for its beautiful beaches, including Reñaca, Acapulco, and Caleta Abarca. You can take a leisurely stroll on the beach, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, Viña del Mar is known for its numerous parks and gardens, such as Quinta Vergara Park and Wulff Castle. You could enjoy a peaceful walk among nature and take some great photos.

Day 2: Viña del Mar City Tour

Today, you will have the opportunity to get to know the most emblematic places in the city. In the morning, you’ll visit Wulff Castle, located on a bluff overlooking the ocean, which is now the headquarters of the Viña del Mar Museum of Fine Arts. After that, you can take a walk along Avenida Peru, one of the most important avenues in the city, and take a look at the famous flower clock.

Later on, you will be taken to the Fonck Museum, where you can admire the largest collection of Easter Island artifacts outside of the island itself. In the afternoon you can explore the beautiful and traditional town center of Viña del Mar, where you can treat yourself to some local cuisine and handmade crafts.

Day 3: Day-Trip to Valparaiso

Today you will visit Valparaiso (60-90 minutes by car from Viña del Mar), where you can visit the famous port city and UNESCO World Heritage site. Valparaiso is known for its colorful houses, street art, and bohemian atmosphere.

In Valparaiso, you can visit sights such as the Ascensor Reina Victoria, one of the many cable cars that run through the city’s steep hills. You can also take a stroll in the UNESCO-listed historic quarter, step into unique bookstores, artisan shops, craft markets and street food stalls, where you can try some of the local cuisine.

Day 4: Free Day

Today, you will have a free day to explore Viña del Mar on your own, but don’t fret, our concierge will be available to help you plan your day.

If you enjoy shopping and luxury brands, you can visit the Marina Arauco Shopping Centre, which has many shops, cafes, and restaurants. You could also take a walk around the city’s gardens and parks, such as Parque Quinta Vergara or Parque Acuático Aviva. Alternatively, you could explore other nearby beaches such as Playa Los Marineros, Playa Amarilla, or Playa Las Salinas.

Day 5: Casablanca Valley Vineyards

Today, you will take a tour to one of the famous wine regions in Chile, the Casablanca Valley Vineyards, located between Valparaiso and Santiago. This valley is known for producing delicious whites and Pinot Noir.

You can enjoy wine tastings at various vineyards such as Matetic, Casas del Bosque, Bodegas RE, and Viña Mar. Tours usually comprise a vineyard walk and wine tasting, along with a lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 6: Reñaca Beach

Today you will visit the famous Reñaca beach - known as the most sought-after seaside holiday destination in the whole of central Chile. Located close to Viña del Mar, it offers long, wide strips of golden sand, crystal clear waters and a vibrant area full of energy.

You can enjoy the scenery from the beach, sample fresh seafood at the seaside restaurants, or hike the coastal trails.

Day 7: Departure

Today is your last day in Viña del Mar. Depending on the timing of your flight, you can spend the morning enjoying the beach or exploring the city. Transfer to Santiago airport is included where you’ll depart for home.
