Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong

Upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take a leisurely walk around your hotel to explore your surroundings, getting a feel for the vibrant city of Hong Kong. In the evening, take a walk to the Symphony of Lights, a breathtaking multimedia light and sound show that illuminates the entire Victoria Harbour. This free show occurs nightly at 8:00 pm and lasts for about 10 minutes.

Day 2: Explore the City

Begin your day with a visit to Victoria Peak, renowned for the stunning views of Hong Kong’s skyline. Next, you can head to the ancient Man Mo Temple in the Sheung Wan neighborhood, dedicated to the gods of literature and music. Stroll through the streets of SoHo, an area that has become synonymous with Hong Kong’s nightlife and trendy dining spots. End the day with a visit to the serene and picturesque Nan Lian Garden, full of lotus ponds, rockeries, and bonsai trees.

Day 3: Food and Shopping

Start off the day with a visit to the Temple Street Night Market that’s been thriving for over 100 years. The market is full of antiques, electronics, and various knick-knacks. Next, indulge in some of Hong Kong’s famous dim sum at the Michelin starred Tim Ho Wan restaurant. After eating, head to Central for some of the best shopping in the city, including luxury stores at The Landmark and fast fashion at H&M. Head to Stanley Market for the perfect souvenir shopping, where vendors sell an array of goods ranging from pottery and knick-knacks to silk garments.

Day 4: Day Trip to Lantau Island

Take a day trip to Lantau Island, Hong Kong’s largest outlying island. Take a cable car ride on the Ngong Ping 360 that offers great views of the island’s forested hills, and visit the famous Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha), one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Near the Big Buddha, visit the Po Lin Monastery and enjoy a vegetarian lunch at one of the monastery’s restaurants. End your day with a visit to Tai O fishing village, an ancient stilt-house community that is built on water.

Day 5: History and Culture

Start your day with a visit to the Hong Kong Museum of History, where you can explore the city’s history from prehistoric times to the 21st century. Take a break from the history with a visit to the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District, where you can appreciate Chinese opera as it’s meant to be performed. In the evening, head to the Temple Nightclub, Hong Kong’s premier nightlife destination.

Day 6: Ocean Park

Spend the day at Ocean Park, a marine-life theme park that boasts an aquarium, roller coaster, and pandas. At the park, take the Ocean Express Train up to the Summit to enjoy a breathtaking view of Hong Kong Island. Then, head over to the Grand Aquarium for a fascinating view of the largest aquarium dome in the world. In the evening, head back to your hotel for a relaxing night.

Day 7: Departure

On your last day, spend some time in the neighborhood of Sham Shui Po, full of street markets and delicious street food. You can take a walking tour to experience the neighborhood’s rich culture and history first hand. After that, head back to your hotel to pack up and check out before heading to the airport for your flight home.
