Day 1: Arrival and Tianjin Eye

This is one of the most popular attractions in Tianjin and the 120 meters tall Ferris wheel offers breathtaking views of the entire city. You can experience the beauty of Tianjin’s riverfront, iconic bridges, and the modern skyscrapers on the wheel. It is a great way to kick off your trip to Tianjin.

Day 2: Tianjin Ancient Culture Street

Your second day in Tianjin can be spent exploring the charming lanes, old architecture, and vintage atmosphere of Tianjin Ancient Culture Street. This is a 2-kilometer pedestrian commercial street and also one of the most culturally significant places in the city that boasts local handicrafts, snacks, street artists, and traditional clothing.

Day 3: Day trip to Huangyaguan Great Wall

On the third day, you can embark on a day trip to the Huangyaguan Great Wall located in the Jixian County of Tianjin. Here you can witness one of the most distinguishing parts and earliest sections of the Great Wall, which has undergone multiple refurbishments over the years. Additionally, there are several hiking trails nearby and you can take an easy hike and explore the surrounding mountains.

Day 4: The Temple of Heaven

On the fourth day, you can spend a full day exploring The Temple of Heaven, which is located in the southeastern part of Tianjin. It is a culturally significant structure dating back to the Ming dynasty and has served as a sacrificial temple for Emperors wishing for favorable conditions. The Temple of Heaven is known for its unique architectural style, incredible acoustics, and meticulously cared-for gardens.

Day 5: Tianjin World Financial Center

Continuing to its modern side, the fifth day calls for a visit to the Tianjin World Financial Center. It is one of the most significant landmarks in the city. The building offers an observation deck on the 74th and 75th floors, offering a 360-degree viewing experience of the city. In the evening, head to the Nanshi Food Street for a taste of traditional Tianjin cuisine.

Day 6: Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel and Italian Style Street

On your second last day, you can revisit the Tianjin Eye and experience the magnificent views at night. The Ferris wheel is even more breathtaking at night, and you can witness the sparkling city lights and the stunning skyline. After your Ferris wheel ride, head to the Italian Style Street. It is an excellent way to end your trip with traditional Italian architecture, wide avenues, romantic courtyards, great street food, and vibrant nightlife.
