Day 1: Arrival in Wuhan
Welcome to Wuhan! Depending on what time you arrive, you may want to spend the day resting or taking a stroll around the city. Wuhan is a city in central China known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful lakes, and delicious local cuisine.
Day 2: Visit Huangpi Mulan Culture Ecological Tourism Zone
On your second day, I recommend a visit to the Huangpi Mulan Culture Ecological Tourism Zone. Here, you can learn about the fascinating history of the legendary Chinese heroine Mulan, along with experiencing local lifestyle and cultural heritage. There are also various performances, including traditional dragon and lion dances.
Day 3: Explore Yellow Crane Tower and Hubei Provincial Museum
Start your day off by exploring the iconic Yellow Crane Tower, which is a five-story tower situated on Snake Hill. The tower, originally built in 223 AD, offers stunning views of the Yangtze River. After visiting the tower, check out the Hubei Provincial Museum, where you can learn more about the history and culture of Wuhan and Hubei Province.
Day 4: Shopping at Jianghan Road and Luojia Street
Take a break from the sightseeing and spend the day shopping at Jianghan Road and Luojia Street. Both streets are lined with a variety of shops and restaurants, where you can shop for souvenirs, clothing, and electronics. Don’t forget to try out some local street food while you’re there!
Day 5: Visit East Lake Scenic Area
Spend the day exploring the East Lake Scenic Area, which is a vast park that covers over 80 square kilometers. Inside the park, there are numerous attractions such as pavilions, islands, gardens and temples. The lake is surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers which create a tranquil atmosphere.
Day 6: Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel
On day six, visit the famous Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, which symbolizes the connection between Wuhan and the rest of the country. Afterward, take a stroll along the Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel, which is a pedestrian tunnel beneath the river with a fascinating light effect. You can spend few hours taking pictures as you walk through.
Day 7: Nightlife in Wuchang
As your trip comes to an end, spend your last evening in the Wuchang district, which is known for its nightlife. Explore the bars and nightclubs around Hankou Yangtze River Bridge where you can enjoy a variety of beverages and music.
