Trip to Nosara, Costa Rica

Day 1: Arrival in Nosara

Welcome to Nosara! Today, you can spend the day relaxing at your hotel and exploring your surroundings. Walk along the beautiful beaches, take a dip in the ocean, and indulge in some delicious Costa Rican cuisine. There are lots of great restaurants around the town, so be sure to ask your local Costa Rican hotel staff for recommendations.

Day 2: Hike to the Rio Nosara Waterfall

Today, you’ll hike to the Rio Nosara Waterfall for some adventure and a refreshing swim. You will be accompanied by a guide who will take you through the jungle and explain the local flora and fauna. Once you reach the waterfall, you can take a dip in the cool water and relax under the waterfall. Don’t forget your water shoes and sunscreen!

Day 3: Horseback Riding on Nosara Beach

Today, you’ll go horseback riding along Nosara Beach. You will be matched with the perfect horse based on your experience level, and taken out onto the beach with a guide. You’ll ride through the waves and take in the stunning views of the sunset over the ocean. This is a great way to experience the beauty of Costa Rica’s coastline.

Day 4: Surfing at Guiones Beach

Today, you will have a surfing lesson at Guiones Beach, known for having some of the best waves in the world. A local surf instructor will teach you the basics of surfing and take you out to the waves. Even if you’re a beginner, you’ll be able to catch a wave within the first couple of attempts! If you’re already an experienced surfer, Nosara is the perfect place to enhance your skills.

Day 5: Zip Line Canopy Tour

Today, you’ll go on a zip line canopy tour through the jungle. You will strap on a harness and zip from platform to platform high above the trees. While you’re up there, keep an eye out for monkeys, sloths, and other Costa Rican wildlife. This is a great way to experience the beautiful views of the jungle and get your adrenaline pumping.

Day 6: Free Day

Today is your free day, so you can relax at the beach, catch up on some shopping in the town, or do whatever else you’d like. If you’re interested in the nightlife, Nosara has some great bars and clubs that come alive at night. Just ask your local Costa Rican hotel staff for some recommendations.

Day 7: Departure from Nosara

Today, it’s time to say goodbye to beautiful Nosara. Depending on the time of your flight, you may have some time to relax at the beach, grab a souvenir to take home, or enjoy one last meal of delicious Costa Rican cuisine before heading home.
