Day 1: Arrival in Split - Relax at the Beach
You’ll arrive in Split and check into your hotel. Once you’re settled, you can spend the day relaxing in the sun on Bacivce Beach, which is just a 10-minute walk from the city center. It’s a perfect place to begin your trip to Split, where you can soak up the Croatian sun and enjoy the clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. Additionally, a number of beach clubs can be found on this part of the coast that features sun loungers, umbrellas, and restaurants.
Day 2: Experience Trogir and Diocletian Palace
After breakfast, head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Trogir, where you can spend a few hours exploring the old town of this pretty little island. You can also check out the famous Trogir Cathedral, Kamerlengo Fortress and the Cipiko Palace. Return to Split in time for lunch and explore the fascinating Diocletian Palace, which was originally built for the Roman Emperor and is now home to modern shops, restaurants and bars. This place is steeped in history and culture and it’s almost impossible to not find something that piques your interest here.
Day 3: Enjoy Rafting on Cetina River
Today, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a day in nature by experiencing the exhilarating white water rapids of the Cetina River. Arranged rafting tours provide exhilarating adventures through caves and crystal clear waters of the river where you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills.
Day 4: Discover the Waterfalls of Krka National Park
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Krka National Park where you can walk through the stunning Sibenik hinterland. The park is best known for its numerous waterfalls, which look more like they belong in the tropical paradise. Explore the walkways that wind through the park and see incredible breathtaking views of waterfalls cascading over bright green moss-covered rocks.
Day 5: Explore Bike Tour of Split’s Hilltops
Today we’ll explore Split from a different perspective, taking a bike tour through some of the city’s hidden hilltops. You’ll traverse to the top of Marjan Hill where panoramic views of Split, the Adriatic Sea and nearby islands spread out to the horizons. After the bike tour, you can enjoy some of the famous local cuisine on a working farm where you can try some of the favourites including wine, olive oil, dried fruit and herbs.
Day 6: Explore Dalmatian Coast by Boat
After breakfast, visit nearby islands with a whole-day boat trip to the Blue Lagoon and local fishing villages along the Dalmatian Coast. You can swim in the turquoise waters of the Adriatic and see the magnificent scenery, before stepping ashore to explore the picturesque fishing villages. Take in the historic sites and enjoy some fresh seafood for lunch.
Day 7: Relaxing last day in Split
Today, spend your last day exploring the sights of Split before departing tomorrow. You can relax at one of the famous cafes, or enjoy some last-minute shopping for souvenirs or local treats to take back home. There is so much to do before your adventure comes to an end!
