Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome to Famagusta, Cyprus! Once you arrive at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can check-in and relax. Famagusta has some of the best beaches so you can spend some time exploring and sunbathing. You can also check out the Salamis ruins which is the most famous ancient city on the island. In the evening, you can take a stroll down Makenzy district and enjoy the nightlife.
Day 2: Famagusta City Tour and Othello Castle
After breakfast, you will visit the walled city of Famagusta, which is one of the most well-preserved cities in the Mediterranean with a rich history dating back to the 3rd century AD. You’ll see its famous landmarks like St. Nicholas Cathedral, St. George of the Greeks Church, Venetian palace, and more. You will also visit Othello Castle, a 14th-century gothic-inspired castle built when Cyprus was ruled by the Venetians. At night, you can have dinner at one of the local restaurants that offer traditional Cypriot cuisine.
Day 3: Cape Greco National Park
On day 3, you will take a trip to Cape Greco National Park, a protected nature reserve with stunning coastline, sandstone cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. You can relax on the beaches or take a dip in the sea, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try out the many water sports activities available like snorkeling, diving, and kayaking.
Day 4: Fig Tree Bay
Fig Tree Bay is one of the most popular beaches in Cyprus, known for its crystal-clear waters and fine sands. You can spend the day sunbathing on the beach or taking a dip, and in the evening, you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Protaras which is a neighboring town.
Day 5: Nissi Beach and Ayia Napa
On day 5, you will visit Nissi Beach and Ayia Napa, another neighboring town that’s known for its lively nightlife. Nissi Beach is one of the most popular beaches and is lined with restaurants and cafes serving traditional Cypriot cuisine. Ayia Napa is a melting pot of different cultures and nationalities, so you can experience the nightlife with diverse music and dance styles available.
Day 6: Kyrenia and Bellapais Monastery
On day 6, you will go on a day trip to Kyrenia, a town on the north coast of Cyprus. You’ll visit Bellapais Monastery, a stunning 13th-century Gothic-style building that sits quietly atop of the hill overlooking the town of Kyrenia. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful gardens which is a perfect spot for a picnic.
Day 7: Departure
It’s time to say goodbye to Famagusta, Cyprus. After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
