Day 1: Arrival and Introduction

Welcome to Plzeň, Czechia, a charming city known for its history and beer production. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up. Then, head out to explore the city. You can start by visiting the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, one of the most famous breweries in the country, and indulge in a pint of the world’s first Pilsner beer. Later, take a stroll around the city center to see the beautiful Gothic and Renaissance architecture. The Great Synagogue, the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral, and the Bishop’s Palace are must-see places.

Day 2: Enjoying The City’s Charm

Plzeň city center has a lot of architectural treasures to offer. You can visit the mid-renaissance archiecture of the Gothic City Hall, continue onward to the Renaissance-style Kamenná kašna and Plague column. Take a short walk to the Museum of West Bohemia to enjoy the Czech Republic’s art, archaeology and history. In the afternoon take a rest and taste the traditional Czech cuisine.

Day 3: Exploring The Great Outdoors

Today, you can have a nature trip and visit the Karlova studánka lookout tower, which offers a scenic view of Bavaria. Walk through the dense forest of Bohemian Forest and visit the nearby Chateau Kozel, that used to be a hunting lodge in the 19th century. Later, you can relax in the luxurious Royal Spa of Marianske Lázne, near Plzeň.

Day 4: A Day at Relaxing at the Hidden Spas

After a few days of exploring, it’s time to relax and unwind. Visit the Nevím Spa, a luxurious spa in Janovice nad Úhlavou, which offers massages, saunas, and hot tubs in a peaceful natural setting. Afterward, head to the Manětín Monastery and explore the ancient ruins. It is known as a historical site, recognized for its interesting architectural style and Romanesque style church.

Day 5: Checking Out The Art Scene

Today, immerse yourself in the artistic side of Plzeň by visiting the Museum of Modern Art, which boasts a collection of contemporary Czech art. There is also a gallery in the old town building showcasing regional art which is worth a visit. The Museum of J.B. Škoda, named after its founder, is also a good place for travelers to check out the industrial history of Plzeň.

Day 6: Seeing the Historic Palaces and Castles

Today, visit the Křivoklát Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, located about one hour from Plzeň. Touring the castle will give you a glimpse of the past life of ancient Czech noblemen. Afterward, visit the Přemysl Otakar II Square, which is surrounded by stately medieval palaces, including the beautiful Renaissance-style Plzeň City Hall.

Day 7: Departure Day

Today marks the end of your Plzeň trip. After breakfast, you can do some last-minute souvenir shopping in the city center before heading to the airport or train station. You will definitely leave Plzeň, Czechia, feeling satisfied with your visit!
