Day 1: Arrival and stroll around the town
Welcome to Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires! You can start your first day by settling into your accommodation. Afterwards, take a walk around the Old Town Square, which is one of the best places to see the picturesque architecture for which Prague is famous for, Stroll along the Golden Lane and explore the bohemian art galleries, souvenir shops and unique Czech beer halls. This small lane located within the Prague Castle complex is also home to Franz Kafka’s house where he used to live. There are many small cobblestone alleys that lead to the Old Town Square, allowing you to appreciate the unique medieval architecture of the city.
Day 2: Prague Castle and Lesser Town
On day 2, explore the grand Prague Castle, which is the largest ancient castle in the world. Inside its walls, you can visit St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, the Golden Lane, and more, and learn about the country’s rich history and royal traditions. From there, you can take a scenic walk down to the charming Lesser Town, which is filled with beautiful Baroque architecture and old-world charm. Take a stroll down the narrow and winding streets, lined with pastel-colored buildings, leading to the historic Charles Bridge.
Day 3: Jewish Museum and Culture
On day three, you can learn about the rich Jewish history and culture in Prague. Start with the Jewish Museum, which consists of six synagogues and a cemetery in the Jewish Quarter, the heart of Prague’s former Jewish ghetto. You can also visit the Old New Synagogue, which is the oldest synagogue in Europe and has been a place of worship for Jews for over 700 years. You can also visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, the final resting place for over 100,000 Jews from the city and its surrounding areas.
Day 4: Letna Park and Chill
On day 4, take some time to relax and enjoy the city’s natural beauty at Letna Park, one of Prague’s most popular parks. With scenic views of the city, the park offers stunning panoramic views and is a great place to go for a walk or a picnic. You can also visit the beer garden, which offers some of the best Czech beers and snacks. In the evening there are many rooftop bars across the city, some with panoramic views perfect for romantic moments or simply to relax and unwind.
Day 5: Shopping spree at Na Příkopě
On day 5, relax with some retail therapy and get your shopping fix on Na Příkopě boulevard. This street is located in prime real estate location and is renowned for its fantastic shopping experience. Browse high-end designer stores, local boutiques, and souvenir shops for unique gifts and souvenirs.
Day 6: Alchemy Museum and Nightlife
On day six, visit the Museum of Alchemy, which offers an intriguing glimpse into the mystical, secretive world of alchemy, an scientific and philosophical practice mixing philosophy often associated with sorcery and deliberate mysteries. Enjoy immersing yourself in the stories of famous alchemists such as Paracelsus and John Dee. Then get ready for a night out in Prague! It is famous for its nightlife, with plenty of places to dance, listen to live music or attend conferences and events.
Day 7: Farewell drink at Žižkov Tower
On the final day, head up to Žižkov Tower, which offers stunning panoramic views of the city. There’s an restaurant and bar situated at the top of the tower called “One Kitchen,” where you can enjoy a farewell drink and take in the last views of Prague. And with that, the trip concludes .
