Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome to Marigot, Dominica! Upon arrival at the airport, a private transfer will take you to your accommodation to get settled in. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing on one of the beaches in Marigot, enjoying the view of the clear blue waters. Alternatively, you can explore the small, yet charming town and its shops, bars and restaurants.
Day 2: Indian River Tour
Today’s adventure will take you on a tour of the Indian River, which runs through lush mangroves into the Caribbean Sea. You will see a variety of flora and fauna, including exotic birds, crabs and other marine animals. Along the way, you will visit the bush bar, which is a quaint restaurant built over the river, where you can enjoy a fresh, local meal and some rum punch.
Day 3: Visit to Roseau
Today you will take a trip to the capital city of Dominica, Roseau. Start off by taking a walk through the historic French Quarter, where you can see the old colonial buildings and learn about the island’s history. After exploring the city, take a trip to Trafalgar Falls, a spectacular waterfall where you can take a dip in the hot springs beneath it and relax.
Day 4: Snorkelling at Champagne Reef
Today take a trip to Champagne Reef, home to some of the best snorkelling spots on the island. The reef takes its name from the bubbles that rise from volcanic vents, giving the impression of a glass of champagne. You will see a variety of tropical fish and marine life, including sea turtles and octopuses. After snorkelling, spend some time relaxing on the nearby beach and soaking up the sun.
Day 5: Hiking in Morne Trois Pitons National Park
Today take a guided hike through the historic Morne Trois Pitons National Park. Along the way, you will see the beautiful emerald pools, as well as the spectacular Trafalgar Falls. The park is home to a variety of rare bird species and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 6: Whale Watching
No trip to Dominica is complete without going whale watching. You will spend the day on a boat with a knowledgeable guide who will help you spot sperm whales, pilot whales and humpback whales. You may also see dolphins and other marine life while on the tour. The tour will also take you to some of the island’s most beautiful beaches, where you can relax and sunbathe.
Day 7: Departure
