Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome to Cabarete, Dominican Republic! Upon your arrival at the airport you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and relax. Cabarete is a beautiful beach town, known for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. If you are looking for a quiet evening, you can simply enjoy a nice dinner at your hotel, or along the beachfront, while taking in the stunning views.
Day 2: Surfing and Beach Day
Cabarete is one of the best places in the world to learn how to surf, and there are plenty of surf schools and rental shops to choose from. Spend the morning taking a lesson from an experienced instructor or rent a board and practice on your own. After surfing, spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach, taking in the sunshine and indulging in a fresh seafood lunch from one of many beachside vendors.
Day 3: Waterfall Adventure
Today we will spend the day exploring the El Limón waterfall. The waterfall is just a short drive from Cabarete and the hike to the falls takes about an hour through lush tropical forests and beautiful scenery. Once we arrive at the waterfall, we can swim in the crystal clear water or take a guided horseback ride. After the adventure, some well-earned evening relaxation with a beachfront dinner.
Day 4: Shopping and Sightseeing
Take some time today to shop and explore the town of Cabarete. There are plenty of quaint shops and boutique stores to discover, selling everything from locally made jewelry to colorful pottery. Grab lunch at one of many street cafes, making sure to try the local cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Laguna Gri-Gri and take a scenic boat ride through the mangrove forests, marveling at the unique wildlife and natural landscapes.
Day 5: Kiteboarding and Beach Day
Cabarete is famous for its kiteboarding conditions, with strong, consistent winds and shallow waters, making it the perfect place to try your hand at this extreme watersport. Lessons and equipment rentals are available at the kite schools along the beach. Spend the day kiteboarding or relaxing on the beach and taking in the energy of the vibrant kiteboarding community. In the evening, check out the lively nightlife scene of Cabarete - with plenty of bars and party spots to choose from.
Day 6: Horse Riding and Sunset at Encuentro Beach
Spend the morning horseback riding through the beautiful countryside of the Dominican Republic, taking in the sights and sounds of rural life. In the afternoon, head to Encuentro Beach to enjoy the sunset. This long, wide beach is perfect for a relaxed day in the sun and serves as the backdrop to a breathtaking sunset. Relax with a cocktail at one of the beachfront bars and enjoy the view.
Day 7: Departure
After a memorable stay in Cabarete, it’s time to say goodbye to this beautiful Caribbean paradise. Spend your last few hours soaking up the sun and taking a few final dips in the crystal-clear water before your transfer arrives to take you to the airport for your flight home.
