Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada
Welcome to Hurghada, Egypt! Upon arrival at Hurghada International Airport, you will be picked up by a private transfer to take you to your hotel. Check in and freshen up before taking a leisurely stroll around your resort to get familiar with the layout. In the evening, enjoy a lovely dinner at one of Hurghada’s seaside restaurants and soak up the beautiful views of the Red Sea.
Day 2: Hurghada City Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your day by taking a walking tour of the city to explore the culture and history of Hurghada. Visit the Old Town, head down to the port, and enjoy views of the beautiful harbor where you can find fresh seafood restaurants. Look at the mosque/masjid, and if you are interested, visit the aquarium and see the marine life of the Red Sea. Spend the evening watching a traditional folklore show at the Alf Leila Wa Leila hotel.
Day 3: Red Sea Experience
Today get a chance to enjoy some of the best water activities in Hurghada. Start your day by taking a boat trip to the Red Sea and enjoy snorkeling or diving in crystal clear water. You can also consider taking a glass bottom boat ride to view the colorful marine life beneath the surface. Another wonderful experience is to take a sunset or dinner yacht cruise, sipping cocktails while watching the sunset, it’s perfect for a romantic getaway.
Day 4: Beach Day
Hurghada is home to some of the most splendid and serene beaches in Egypt. Today, relax and spend your day on the beach soaking up the sun, getting a tan, reading a book, or just watching the waves. A popular place for relaxing beaches is Paradise Island or El Gouna, both areas worth considering. You can rent beach umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach and enjoy the soft sand.
Day 5: Luxor Day Trip
Explore the ancient city of Luxor today and visit some of Egypt’s most historic locations. On the east bank visit Karnak temple, the Luxor Temple, and the Luxor Museum. On the west bank see the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This is the perfect opportunity to witness how vibrant Egyptian history is.
Day 6: El Dahar Souk and Dahar District
Take a taxi to the El Dahar Souk for a unique cultural experience as you soak in the colorful stalls and wares for sale. You can buy spices, handicrafts, souvenirs and much more. Apart from the souks, you can also visit the Dahar district where you’ll find narrow alleyways filled with traditional old-style houses and shops. Enjoy a cup of tea in traditional Bedouin tents and watch locals go about their daily business.
Day 7: Departure
It’s time to bid adieu to Hurghada and take your private transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
