Trip to Siwa Oasis, Egypt
Day 1: Arrival & Relaxation
Welcome to Siwa Oasis, Egypt! On arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver who will escort you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery of the oasis. You can also take a stroll through the streets of the town and enjoy the sights and sounds of this charming little town.
Day 2: Siwa Oasis Tour
Today, you will explore the Siwa Oasis on a guided tour. You will visit the Temple of the Oracle, the ancient Shali Fortress, and the Cleopatra Bath. You will also have the opportunity to taste the local dates and olives, and visit some of the local handicraft shops. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, with stunning views of the palm groves, salt lakes, and sand dunes.
Day 3: Al-Maraqi Fortress Visit
Today, we will visit Al-Maraqi Fortress, which is considered one of the most important historical sites in Siwa Oasis. The fortress dates back to the 13th century and offers stunning views of the oasis. You can also take a relaxing swim in one of the natural springs nearby.
Day 4: Desert Safari
Today, we will venture into the desert for a thrilling safari adventure. You will ride on a 4x4 vehicle over the sand dunes, stop to take in the beauty of the desert, and enjoy sandboarding. Next, we will visit the Fossil Rock, an interesting rock formation that contains marine fossils that are millions of years old. Finally, we will stop at a local Bedouin camp, where you’ll taste traditional Bedouin tea and watch a beautiful sunset over the desert.
Day 5: Shopping & Nightlife
Today, you can spend the morning exploring some of the local markets, where you can find some of the finest local handicrafts and souvenirs. Later in the evening, you can head to one of Siwa Oasis’s hotspots and enjoy some local drinks and cuisine as you take in the music and atmosphere of this charming oasis town.
Day 6: Relaxation
Today, you can spend the day relaxing. You can try one of the many spa treatments available in Siwa Oasis to round out your trip. Alternatively, you can take a walk through the palm groves and enjoy nature at its best.
Day 7: Departure
