Trip to Carriacou Island, Grenada

Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Arrive at Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport, where you will take a short flight to Carriacou Island. Once you have arrived, check into your hotel or villa, then take a walk around the island. The island’s stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters are ideal for relaxation after a long flight. Take a walk along the coast, with its stunning views of idyllic bays and hidden coves.

Day 2: Fishing and Snorkeling

In the morning, take a trip on a local fishing boat and explore the Carriacou reefs. Fish for exotic species of fish, including snapper and marlin. Swim in the air-like crystal-clear waters with a mask to explore the undersea world teeming with colorful marine life.

Day 3: Beach Hopping

Take a jeep tour of the island and discover its hidden beaches, and serene shores. Take a break at Sparrow Bay and indulge in a little sun and sand. The beach has a sheltered lagoon and is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. Point Cistern trail through the mangroves is a nice place for a hike.

Day 4: Boat Tour to Sandy Island and White Island

Experience Sandy Island, which is a beautiful coral reef with warm waters and magnificent shades of blue and green colors. Later in the afternoon, travel to deserted White Island, where you can snorkel among unspoiled coral reefs.

Day 5: Visit Hillsborough for shopping and Nightlife

Hillsborough, the largest town on the island, is a center for Grenadian shopping and nightlife. Book a charter, take a bus or boat to Hillsborough, and experience the local market, churches, and historical sites. In the evening, try the local rum punch while enjoying the nightlife.

Day 6: Sandy Beach and Anse La Roche Trail

Take a catamaran tour of the island’s stunning sandy beaches. Visit Anse La Roche Beach, a deserted spot with many private coves. This is the perfect spot for reading a book in the sun. Take a hike afterward to Anse La Roche Trail, which passes through the rainforest, with a viewpoint at the top suitable for photography enthusiasts.

Day 7: Windward Village and Departure

Visit the tiny village of Windward, where you will experience island life and meet locals on your last day. Here you can find handcrafted items such as straw baskets and organic herbs. Later in the day, take a flight back to Grenada’s airport and bid farewell to Carriacou Island.
