Trip to Gouyave, Grenada

Day 1: Arrival in Gouyave

Welcome to Gouyave, Grenada! On your first day, you will arrive in the charming fishing village of Gouyave. On your second day in Gouyave, you will visit the famous Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station, which is one of the essential activities in Grenada. The station is one of the largest Nutmeg collection stations in the world that you don’t want to miss. You’ll have the opportunity to see how locals use the spice that is vital to the island’s culture to flavor jams, rum, and many other goods. After a tour of the nutmeg processing facility, you can enjoy other activities such as beachcombing, snorkeling, and others.

Day 3: Adventure at Grand Etang National Park and Forest Reserve

On your third day, you will visit the Grand Etang National Park and Forest Reserve. Grand Etang National Park is a vast rainforest reserve that spans an area of about 362 hectares. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including monkeys, parrots, and more. You can hike through the trails of the park and even take a dip in the calming waters of the Grand Etang Lake. Along the way, you will see beautiful waterfalls, lush vegetation, and other amazing scenic spots.

Day 4: Relaxation day

On your fourth day, it’s time to relax and take a break from all the activities. This is an excellent time to unwind at the hotel pool or visit the Spiceland Mall, one of the most popular shopping malls on the island. Day 5: Sunset Cruise

On day five, you’ll go on a sunset cruise on the Caribbean Sea. The cruise offers a captivating view of the coastline. The sunset creates the ambience for a romantic evening. Enjoy delicious local cuisine and refreshing drinks while taking in the stunning sunset views over the water.

Day 6: Market Shopping in St. George’s

On your sixth day, you will visit the capital city of Grenada, St. George’s. It is famous for shopping, and you will visit the bustling Marketplace and the St. George’s Market Square, filled with vendors selling exquisite and exotic local foods, crafts, and souvenirs.

Day 7: Departure

It’s time to say goodbye to Gouyave and Grenada! On your final day, you can enjoy your last moments in Gouyave by relaxing on the beach or have one final meal in one of the local restaurants. Afterward, you will depart to the international airport for your flight home.
