Day 1: Arrival in Goa
Welcome to Goa! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your private driver who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and get settled in. You may want to head out and explore your surrounding area, or simply unwind at your hotel pool.
Day 2: Anjuna Flea Market and Beaches
On your second day in Goa, visit Anjuna Flea Market and shop for trinkets, clothes, and souvenirs. The market is famous for the colorful display of items for sale as well as for its international food stalls. After the flea market, head to Anjuna Beach for some sunbathing and relaxation. Anjuna Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Goa and is known for its iconic rock formation which sits in the sea.
Day 3: Old Goa Churches
Today visit Old Goa and marvel at the rich Portuguese history. Explore largest churches of Asia i.e. the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Sé Cathedral, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These churches offer a treasure trove of rich history, art and architecture along with impressive views of the Mandovi river. Do not forget to pick up some freshly baked bread from the famous Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro - Dona Paula.
Day 4: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantations
On Day 4, set out on an adventure to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls which are located on the Mandovi River in Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the falls, watch exotic birds or hike to the top of the falls. En route visit Spice Garden Cum Factory where you can learn about the different spices produced in Goa, how they are harvested, processed, and used in Indian cuisine.
Day 5: Leisure Day
Today you can take a leisure day to rest and explore the surrounding areas of your hotel. Since Goa is known for its nightlife, you may want to check out some of the local bars, cafes, and clubs for an evening filled with entertainment. Do not forget to try some traditional Goan dishes, such as piquant fish curry and sorpotel.
Day 6: Palolem and Panjim
This today is for the ultimate relaxation, visit Palolem beach surrounded by peaceful resorts and located close to Portugal-influenced village Chauri. Enjoy a decadent brunch at Dropadi or Barbeque with the scenic views of Palolem. Later in the evening, head to Panjim – the capital city of Goa - and stroll around the area of Fontainhas which looks like a picture postcard.
Day 7: Departure
Today is your last day in Goa. Spend some quality time on one of the nearby beaches, shopping around the quaint local markets or simply indulge in a spa treatment. Later, your private driver will transfer you back to the airport for your onward journey.
