Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Welcome to Yogyakarta! Upon your arrival, our transfer service will bring you to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to settle down and relax. You can order a spa session in the hotel or visit one of the many spas in Yogyakarta. Try traditional Javanese massage as it is a must-try when you are in Indonesia. Day 2: Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple Tour

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up to visit two of the most magnificent temples in Indonesia: Borobudur and Prambanan. Start at Borobudur Temple, which is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Climb to the top of this 9th-century temple and admire the beautiful views of Mount Merbabu and Mount Merapi. After that, head to Prambanan Temple which is a glorious Hindu temple. The temple is famous for its exquisite sculptures and architectural designs and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3: Explore Yogyakarta City

On day 3, take a full-day city tour of Yogyakarta where you will see the Kraton (Sultan’s Palace), Taman Sari Water Castle (royal garden of the Sultan), and Kota Gede (the city’s silver center). The Kraton is a place where you can learn about the history and culture of Yogyakarta’s royal kingdom. You will also witness the traditional dance performance of wayang orang. Kota Gede, on the other hand, is famous for its beautiful silver craft works and jewelry.

Day 4: Trekking in Merapi and Jeep Adventure Safari

Today’s adventure is a thrilling trekking adventure in Mount Merapi National Park. Trek through the track of Mount Merapi with the backdrop view of green trees and rocky cliffs. The hike is around 3 hours long and will take you to visit Litho Charcoal factory which uses the carbonization process to make charcoal. After that, enjoy a jeep adventure safari tour exploring the Merapi slopes.

Day 5: Learn Indonesian Cooking

Day 6: Shop in Yogyakarta’s Thriving Culture

On your second last day in Yogyakarta, visit Batik-making area to purchase some of the best and exquisite batiks in Indonesia. Batik is a cloth that is traditionally made using a manual wax-resist dyeing process which creates a beautiful and unique design. Finally, spend your evening in one of the famous night clubs in Yogyakarta and experience the nightlife.

Day 7: Departure
