Day 1: Arrival in Karaj

Upon arrival at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport, you will be picked up by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel in Karaj. After checking in and resting for a bit, you can explore the city on your own. Karaj, located about 45 minutes northwest of Tehran, is known for its bazaar and parks. So, you can visit the Karaj bazaar, which is a traditional market with many shops and restaurants, and try some local Iranian dishes. In the evening, you can take a walk in the Laleh Park and watch the locals engaging in various activities.

Day 2: Visit the Alborz Mountains and the Karaj Dam

Today, you will visit the Alborz Mountains, which is the highest mountain range in Iran. You will drive through the mountains and enjoy the scenic views of the snow-capped peaks. You can take a cable car to the top of the mountain to get a panoramic view of the surrounding areas. You will then visit the Karaj Dam, which is the largest dam in Iran, and learn about its history and importance to the region.

Day 3: Explore Gachsar Tulip Park and Shopping at Karaj’s malls

Today is dedicated to exploring the Gachsar Tulip Park, which is located about 15 km west of Karaj. This park is filled with beautiful tulips, roses, and other flowers. You can take a guided tour of the park and learn about the different types of plants that are grown there. After lunch, you can visit one of the shopping malls in Karaj such as the Golestan Shopping Center or the Persian Gulf Complex. These malls are known for their modern architecture, international brands, and local shops.

Day 4: Discovering Karaj’s Historical Sites

On this day, you will explore Karaj’s historical sites. You can start by visiting the Karaj Museum of Anthropology, which showcases the history and culture of the region. You can then visit the Karaj Palace, which was once the residence of the former Shah of Iran. Afterwards, you can visit Gohar Lake, which is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and has many recreational facilities such as boating, fishing, and picnic areas.

Day 5: Visiting Tehran and Golestan Palace

Today, you will take a trip to Tehran, the capital city of Iran, and visit the famous Golestan Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace is known for its beautiful architecture, gardens, and historical significance. You can take a guided tour of the palace and learn about the history of the royal family and the Persian Empire. After the tour, you can explore the city on your own by visiting one of the museums, parks, or shopping centers.

Day 6: Karaj’s Wildlife and Nature Reserves

On this day, you will visit one of the wildlife and nature reserves in Karaj. You can start with the Khojir National Park, which is known for its wildlife, mountains, and hiking trails. You can take a guided tour of the park and learn about the different species of animals and plants that are found in the park. After lunch, you can visit the Karaj Wildlife Rescue Center, which is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating various types of animals such as leopards, wolves, and eagles.

Day 7: Departure from Karaj

On your last day, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport for your flight back home.
