Day 1: Arrival and Exploring the City

Day 2: Blarney Castle and Gardens
Today, head out to nearby Blarney Castle to explore the beautiful gardens and kiss the famous Blarney Stone. The gardens are a truly breathtaking sight, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The Blarney Stone is said to give you the gift of the gab, so don’t miss your chance to pucker up and give it a smooch. Afterwards, check out the Blarney Woollen Mills for some souvenirs to take home.
Day 3: Visiting Kinsale
Take a day trip to the picturesque fishing village of Kinsale, which is located just south of Cork. The town is known for its colorful houses, quaint streets, and delicious seafood. Be sure to visit Kinsale Harbour to see the boats and take in the views. You can also explore the town’s various galleries and shops, or take a leisurely walk along the coast.
Day 4: Cork City Gaol
Today, visit the Cork City Gaol, which is a former prison that has now been turned into a museum. This atmospheric site will give you a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the prisoners who were held here in the 19th and 20th centuries. You can take a guided tour and learn about the history of the prison, as well as its more famous inmates.
Day 5: Exploring Cobh
Take a day trip to Cobh, which is a charming town located about 25km from Cork. Cobh has a rich maritime history and was the departure point for many Irish emigrants who sailed to America. Stop by the Cobh Heritage Centre to learn more about the town’s past, then head to the beautifully ornate St. Colman’s Cathedral for stunning views of the harbor.
Day 6: Jameson Distillery Experience
Today, head out to the Jameson Distillery Experience in nearby Middleton to learn all about the famous Irish whiskey. Take a guided tour of the distillery and learn about the process of making whiskey from start to finish. You can also participate in a whiskey tasting session and sample some of Jameson’s finest.
Day 7: Departure
On day 7, say goodbye to Cork and head home. If you have some time before your flight, you can pick up any last-minute souvenirs or grab a quick lunch in the city center. Safe travels!
