Day 1: Arrival and City Centre Exploration

You will arrive at Dublin airport and take an express bus to Galway. Upon arrival, you’ll check-in to your hotel and embark on your Galway city centre exploration. One of the best ways to experience the city’s charms is on foot. Begin your walk at Eyre Square, lined with stunning flowers and green spaces. Then, visit the historic St Nicholas’ Church, the Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, and the Lynch’s Castle. Your day will end with a traditional Irish dinner in one of the local restaurants.

##Day 2: Aran Islands day trip

Today you will embark on an island-hopping adventure to the mesmerising Aran Islands. The Aran Islands are considered as one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland and have been designated as a Gaeltacht, or Irish-speaking region. You will have the opportunity to soak up the unique and centuries-old Gaelic culture and traditions, and explore spectacular landscapes, including ancient forts, dramatic cliffs and picturesque lighthouses. If time permits, finish your day with a stopover at the Aran sweater market to buy one of the world-famous special Aran Island jumpers.

##Day 3: The Burren Region and Cliffs of Moher

A visit to the Burren Region and Cliffs of Moher is a must-see attraction in Ireland. Start your day by driving through the karst landscape of the Burren Region, where beautiful wildflowers bloom among limestone rock formations. You will also visit the Poulnabrone Dolmen, a megalithic tomb dating back to the Neolithic period. Next, drive to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most iconic and photographed natural landmarks that attract thousands of visitors each year. End your day with dinner in Doolin, a small village famous for its Irish music and traditional pubs.

##Day 4: Galway Bay Coastal Drive

Today, you will embark on the Galway Bay coastal drive, where you will spot stunning sights, such as wildflowers, coastal cliffs, and hidden beaches. On your drive, make a stop at Spiddal, a traditional Irish-speaking village famous for its Connemara-style stone houses. You’ll also drive through the picturesque villages of Barna and Claddagh, famous for their handcrafted Claddagh rings. Finish your day with dinner at one of the local seafood restaurants that serve mouth-watering, freshly caught fish.

##Day 5: Galway City Museums and Cultural Experiences

Spend today exploring some of Galway’s fascinating museums. Start with the Galway City Museum, which tells the story of the city’s cultural and medieval history. Then, head to The Hall of the Red Earl, a 13th-century ruin that played an important role in the city’s history. Finish your museum visits at the Lynch’s Castle, a prominent historical site built in the 15th century. In the evening, enjoy a show or a live Irish music performance in one of the local pubs.

##Day 6: Connemara National Park

On today’s itinerary is a trip to the Connemara National Park, where you’ll encounter breathtaking scenery and exceptional landscapes. Considered as one of the most unspoiled regions of Ireland, you will find stunning vistas, scenic hiking trails and diverse wildlife in the Connemara National Park. Take a break and soak up the breathtaking views of the rugged landscape, round stone walls, and Atlantic beaches. To enjoy an added experience, visit the nearby Kylemore Abbey and beautiful Victorian Walled Garden.

##Day 7: Galway Shopping & Departure

You have the morning to go shopping and find some souvenirs of your stay in Galway before departing back home. Spend some time at the Galway Market, where you’ll find a wide range of crafts, souvenirs, and antiques. Or head to Kirwan’s Lane, a hidden street renowned for its vibrant cultural and artistic scene. Here you’ll find unique handcrafted items perfect for you, or as a gift for your loved ones. After your last-minute shopping, depart for the airport for your journey back home.
