Day 1: Arrival and Exploring the City

You will arrive in Florence today and check into your hotel. You might be tired after your journey, so take it easy today and explore the area around your hotel before you start with major attractions tomorrow. Near most hotels in Florence, it’s easy to find delicious local food, charming shops and other forms of entertainment.

Day 2: Visiting Florence’s famous museums

Florence is famous for its many museums, so today, take your time to walk to the famous Florence museums such as the Accademia Gallery or Uffizi Gallery. At the Accademia Gallery, you will find Michelangelo’s David located in the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze. The Accademia is also home to many other masterpieces.

At Uffizi Gallery Museum, you can view an array of stunning century-old artworks from renowned artists, such as Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello and Leonardo da Vinci. With its extensive collection of paintings dating back to the 13th and 18th centuries, there is plenty to admire at this well-known museum.

Day 3: Exploring Florence’s historical attractions

Today, you will explore some of the city’s historical attractions. Start at the Palazzo Vecchio, a beautiful Renaissance palace with an ornate tower; then head to the Piazza della Signoria, a historic square with a replica of Michelangelo’s David statue. Other attractions to visit are Il Duomo di Firenze, the famous Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its red-tiled dome, and the Giotto’s Bell Tower, which is part of the same complex.

Finally, walk south down to the Ponte Vecchio, a beautiful and historic bridge across the Arno River with many jewelry shops.

Day 4: Wine Tasting in Chianti

Today, you will head on a day trip to the beautiful Chianti countryside to taste some of Italy’s most famous wines. The region is not too far away from the city and is famous for its vineyards and wine. You will spend the day visiting various vineyards and wineries, where you will learn about the local wine-making process and have the opportunity to try some of the best wines in the world.

Day 5: Cooking Class

Today, you can take a cooking class and learn the secrets of Italian cuisine. With a professional chef, you will learn how to cook traditional Italian dishes such as pasta, gnocchi, lasagne, and more. You’ll also learn how to pair them with local wines and enjoy the fruits of your labor at the end of the class.

Day 6: Day trip to Pisa

Today, you will take a day trip to Pisa, which is known for its famous Leaning Tower, a magnificent marble bell tower located in the Piazza dei Miracoli. After visiting the Tower, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city, including other attractions such as the Piazza dei Cavalieri, the beautiful churches and the River Arno.

Day 7: Relax and Shop

Today is your last day in Florence, so it is time to relax a bit and go shopping in the city center. Florence is known for its high-end fashion brands and boutiques, so this is an excellent opportunity to buy some Italian fashion. You might also want to pick up some souvenirs for your friends and family back home.

Day 8: Departure
