Trip to Vaduz, Liechtenstein

Day 1: Arrival and city tour

When you arrive in Vaduz, make sure to take some time to rest and get to know your surroundings. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the city and visit the Vaduz Castle, which is the official residence of the Liechtenstein Prince. The castle is perched atop a hill, so the views from the top are spectacular. If you are interested in art, you could also visit the Kunstmuseum, which features a collection of modernist art.

Day 2: Hiking in the mountains

Liechtenstein is known for its beautiful mountains and hiking trails. Take a hike to the summit of Grauspitz and enjoy breathtaking views of the entire country. The hike can be challenging, so make sure to bring proper gear and take plenty of breaks. Along the way, you might also come across some charming villages and farms.

Day 3: Visiting the wineries

Lichtenstein is home to some excellent wineries, so why not spend the day touring and tasting the local wines? Malbun is one of the most well-known wineries in the region, and the vineyards are located in the picturesque mountains. You can also stop at a few smaller, family-run wineries to taste some lesser-known varietals.

Bad Ragaz in Switzerland is just a short journey from Vaduz and has one of the best thermal spas in Europe. Plan to spend the whole day unwinding in the soothing waters and enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains. The thermal pools use the local mineral water which is believed to have healing properties.

Day 6: Skiing in Winter Wonderland

We recommend a day for skiing at one of the largest winter sports areas in the country known as Malbun. It has skiing slopes for various difficulty levels ranging from easy to challenging. The cold snow and fresh air provide an unparalleled skiing experience, making it quite an adventure to remember.
