Day 1: Arrival & Dudelange Tour

Welcome to Dudelange! Upon arrival, you can check into your hotel and then spend your first day exploring this charming city on foot. Start your day by taking a walk through Parc Emile Mayrisch while enjoying impressive views of the city. After this, you can head to Centre National de l’Audiovisuel where you can learn more about Luxembourg’s cinema history. Continue your walking tour and visit Church of St. Martin which is a 19th-century sanctuary located a few metres from the town hall. In the evening, enjoy Luxembourgian culinary delights in some of Dudelange’s finest restaurants while taking in picturesque views of the city.

Day 2: Dudelange as a French city

Today, experience the French and contemporary side of Dudelange. Start your day by visiting Les thermes de Mondorf where you can find a unique combination of thermal baths, casino, and hotel. After this, walk around the city and visit some of the old French-style houses. Additionally, visit the world-renowned Château de Preisch. In the evening, indulge in the rich French and international cuisine provided by some of the city’s finest restaurants like Brasserie de la Cité.

Day 3: Medieval History of Luxembourg

Today, it is time to explore Luxembourg’s history. Begin by taking a short train ride to the capital city of Luxembourg, which is less than 20 minutes away, and visit the UNESCO-listed Casemates du Bock fortress, one of the most impressive fortresses in Europe. Additionally, visit the Musée d’histoire de la Ville de Luxembourg (Museum of History of the City of Luxembourg) to learn about the history of Luxembourg, dating back to Roman times. Return to Dudelange in the evening to enjoy a relaxing night out with Luxembourgish hospitality at the Brasserie du Neumünster.

Day 4: Rue de Raville Walking Tour

Today’s focus is to see the city’s unique neighbourhoods and architecture. Begin your day by visiting Rue de Raville, especially designed with a contemporary look. Here, you will find a perfect blend of old structures that still maintain their charm and the contemporary structures that make the city feel like a place out of a fantasy book. The buildings are painted with various colours, which creates an impressive view. In the evening, enjoy some of the best seafood in the city at Red Rocks.

Day 5: Visiting Esch-sur-Alzette

Today we suggest taking a day trip to the charming town of Esch-sur-Alzette, which is easily reachable by train or bus from Dudelange. Here, you can visit the historic Schlassgoart Fort, which was once part of Luxembourg’s defences in the 19th century. Additionally, you can visit the Galerie d’art Zénon - CHAPEL and enjoy some of the contemporary art of Luxembourg. In the evening, enjoy some of the best dining experiences in Vum Séi, where you can enjoy Luxembourgian cuisine under the stars.

Day 6: Shopping and Nightlife

Today, you have a day to yourself to shop and enjoy the nightlife of Dudelange. The city centre is loaded with an array of boutiques, shops, and luxury brands like Rue Philippe II where you can shop till you drop. Additionally, enjoy a night out and a few drinks in Brasserie Plopp or Palais Club.

Day 7: Farewell, Dudelange!

Sadly, it is the last day of your trip. You can visit Parc Le’h where you can explore on a fascinating 2.5 km circular route through parklands, woodlands, meadows, and orchards. Alternatively, you can head to the nearby Luxembourg Airport where you can fly to your next destination.
