Day 1: Arrival and Exploration
As the first day of your trip to Fontvieille, Monaco, you’ll want to get situated and start exploring. You can take your seat in a grandstand, attend trackside parties or even hire a yacht for a close view. Every second of this day will be full of thrill, excitement and a dash of glamour.
Day 3: Indulge in local history
Fontvieille offers many opportunities for exploration and discovery. Start your day by visiting the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, where you can learn about sea creatures, the Mediterranean and embark on a journey of exploration of the planet’s marine life. Second, explore the Palace of the Prince of Monaco to learn about the history of the Grimaldi dynasty. End your day on a high note at the Prince’s Palace to witness the changing of the guard ceremony, which occurs daily, in front of the palace gates.
Day 4: Day Trip to the French Riviera
One of the best things about Fontvieille is its close proximity to the French Riviera, making it a perfect base for a day trip. A quick train ride from Fontvieille will take you to the coastal town of Nice, where you can choose to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or stroll through the town’s renowned farmers market. Take in the stunning views of Nice’s unique coastline and go shopping for souvenirs.
Day 5: Luxury Shopping
Spend today browsing the high-end luxury shops such as Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton in the elegant shopping district of Fontvieille. Take a leisurely stroll along the Boulevard des Moulins to discover more high-end boutiques and admire some of the beautiful architecture. Day 6: La Condamine Market
Explore the world-famous La Condamine Market, a place that is rich with local character. You will find a variety of specialty produce including olives, cheese and wine. You can also shop for souvenirs such as hand-crafted ceramics, textiles and jewelry that are characteristic to the local culture. Afterward, enjoy a pastry and coffee while you people-watch at the nearby bakery.
Day 7: Farewell to Fontvieille
On your last day, you can enjoy the luxury facilities of your hotel with a day-long spa treatment, before indulging in your final evening in Fontvieille with dinner at one of the many Michelin starred restaurants. Then, take a slow walk along the scenic streets of Fontvieille while taking in the beautiful architecture and stunning views one last time, before catching your flight back home.
