Trip to Bijelo Polje, Montenegro

Day 1: Arrival & Relaxation

Arrive at Bijelo Polje and enjoy the comfort of your hotel. Spend the day relaxing, rejuvenating and acclimating to your new environment. Take a stroll around the hotel, enjoy a dip in the pool, or indulge in the hotel’s spa treatments. The city of Bijelo Polje is famous for its natural scenery and rich historical landmarks. Don’t forget to take a walk through the Bijelo Polje city streets, to catch a glimpse of the dual-sided architecture of homes and shops on the main street. Also, take a trip to the nearby Ribnica River, a beautiful natural site for sightseeing and various activities.

Day 2: Wine Tasting & Vineyard Tour

Enjoy a full day of wine tasting and vineyard tours in Montenegro, where wine production is a distinctive feature of the Montenegrin countryside. Visit Plantaže vineyards located in the region of Cemovsko Polje, where you will have an opportunity to taste some of the finest Montenegrin wines as well as try typical Montenegrin food. The vineyards are a landscape of rolling hills, endless vine rows, and the perfect place for pictures with a stunning panorama view. After the tour, you can make your way to the Monastery of Mileseva, known for the Mileseva Monastery’s White Angel fresco.

Day 3: Rafting

Today you can experience the fun of rafting as you go down the rapids in the Tara River, one of the prime tourist spots in Montenegro. The river flows through a stunning canyon with crystal clear waters on one side and lush green vegetation on the other side. The stretch of river is 82 kilometers long, passing through forested mountains and beautiful scenery making it an ideal location for rafting. If you are looking for more adventure, you might also consider bungee jumping, which takes place just a few meters from the rafting finishing point.

Day 4: Mou hot springs and Canyoning

Today you can visit the Mou hot springs which are located in a scenic area, situated between the mountain ranges of Prokletije and Bjelasica. At first sight, the hot springs seem like a natural swimming pool, crystal clear and enticing with shades of blue and green. The temperature of the water is around 36 degrees Celsius, which makes it perfect for bathing and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the nearby canyon and indulge in canyoning, jumping, and swimming in the natural pools. Canyoning is an extremely popular activity and is a favorite among tourists for its sheer adrenaline-fueled fun.

Day 5: Bijelo Polje City Tour

Today you will have the opportunity to explore Bijelo Polje city outside of the main street. A guide will take you through the history of the town at the Bijelo Polje Museum, showcasing exhibits of life in Montenegro during different periods in the past. The museum has archeological, ethnographic, and historical collections, reflecting the history of the area and providing insight into its traditions. You will then have lunch at a Local restaurant and then go shopping in the nearby Old Castle where you can buy souvenirs, artisanal crafts, and locally produced goods.

Day 6: National Park Biogradska Gora

Visit the Biogradska Gora, a national park situated in the center of Montenegro, which is an extension of the Biogradska Gora forest. Here you can experience the peacefulness and silence of nature, hike and follow the marked trails, or join some of the park’s tours with experienced guides. You cannot miss the Biogradska Lake, known as “the pearl of Biogradska Gora,” which is surrounded by old trees and charming meadows making it an ideal place to relax. In addition to that, you can go on a bicycle tour, a horse riding trip, or visit some of the villages nearby.

Day 7: Departure

Your trip has come to an end. After check-out, it’s time to say goodbye to beautiful Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. The transfer vehicle will take you to the airport, providing you with memories that you will cherish forever.
