Trip to Podgorica, Montenegro
Day 1: Arrival and City Tour
You will arrive in Podgorica, Montenegro today. After checking in at your hotel, begin your trip with a city tour. Start by visiting the historic town of Stara Varos, where you’ll find cobblestone streets and traditional Montenegrin houses.
From there, head to Nemanjica Grad, a medieval fortress that dates back to the 9th century. Perched atop a hill, the fortress overlooks the city and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
In the evening, explore the city center and sample some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in town.
Day 2: Skadar Lake National Park
Spend the day exploring Skadar Lake National Park, the largest lake in the Balkans. Take a boat ride across the lake to see the beautiful scenery and check out the historic island monasteries in the area.
You’ll also get a chance to see some of the local wildlife in the park, including pelicans, turtles, and various species of fish.
In the afternoon, visit some of the quaint villages located in the park and sample local wine and cheese.
Day 3: Ostrog Monastery
Today, visit Ostrog Monastery, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Balkans. Built into the side of a mountain, the monastery offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

In the evening, return to Podgorica and enjoy dinner at one of the many local restaurants.
Day 4: Shopping

Take a break from shopping and visit the Millennium Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that offers stunning views of the Morača River.
In the evening, head to the Montenegrin National Theatre, where you can catch a local performance.
Day 5: Mount Lovćen National Park
Take a day trip to Mount Lovćen National Park and experience the breathtaking views of the landscape. The park is home to unique flora and fauna, as well as Mausoleum of Njegoš, a monument dedicated to one of the country’s greatest poets and rulers.
In the afternoon, head to the nearby coastal town of Budva to explore the well-preserved old town and relax on the beach.
Day 6: Nightlife
Experience Podgorica’s nightlife by visiting some of the city’s trendy bars and nightclubs. From live music to DJs, there is something for every music lover.
For a quieter evening, visit Bajsko Polje, a park on the outskirts of the city that is popular for its walking trails and picnic areas.
