Day 1: Arrival in Meknes

Upon arrival at the Meknes Airport, you will be greeted by your hotel shuttle and transferred to your luxurious accommodation. Take the rest of the day to explore the hotel or relax by the pool. In the evening, head out to explore the historic city center and be sure to feast on some of the local Moroccan cuisine at a authentic restaurant.

Day 2: Exploring the Imperial City of Meknes

Start your day with a walking tour of the city. Admire the beautiful and intricate architecture of the historic gates of Bab El Mansour and Bab Berdaine. Then, visit the El Hedim Square, where you can see the grand mosque, the souks and the bustling marketplaces of the city. Do not miss the magnificent Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a sacred site for Moroccans, containing the tomb of the famous Sultan Moulay Ismail, before ending your day by enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner in one of the city’s renowned restaurants.

Day 3: Visit the ancient city of Volubilis

Take a day trip to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis. This ancient city was once the westernmost outpost of the Roman Empire in North Africa and it’s breathtaking ruins are well worth the visit. Walk around the well-preserved mosaics and ruins of temples, palaces, and public buildings that once made up this important city of antiquity. Then head to the nearby town of Moulay Idriss for lunch and wander the streets of this picturesque and sacred town that is the cradle of Islam in Morocco.

Day 4: Explore the spiritual city of Fes

Board a comfortable vehicle and make your way to the spiritual city of Fes. Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace of Fes and then make your way to the ancient city of Fes el-Bali. Discover the fascinating maze of narrow streets, alleys, and markets of the ancient medina and shop for some of the region’s finest goods. Stop at the Bou Inania Madrasa to marvel at its stunning architecture and then continue to the impressive Ain Azliten to learn about Moroccan pottery. End your day with a trip to one of the city’s famous rooftop bars and enjoy the stunning view of the city while sipping on a cocktail or tea.

Day 5: Experience the Sahara Desert

Head out into the Sahara Desert on a full day excursion. Journey through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains and experience the changing landscapes as you drive toward the desert. Take a camel ride to savor the isolation of the sand dunes and admire the beauty of the towering golden sands of Erg Chebbi. At sunset, watch an unforgettable and magical beauty of the desert with a delicious dinner and traditional music in the Berber camp.

Day 6: Traditional Moroccan Cooking Class

Discover the secrets of Moroccan cuisine in a cooking class with a local chef. Start your day with a tour of the central market with your chef before heading back to their home and learning how to cook a three-course Moroccan meal. Use traditional cooking methods and test your newfound skills while enjoying a meal you helped prepare.

Day 7: Departure from Meknes

Spend some time packing and enjoying your final hours in the beautiful city of Meknes before being transferred back to the airport for your departure flight.
