Day 1: Arrival

After arriving in Lahore and checking in to your accommodation, take some time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, head over to the Badshahi Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks of Lahore. This mosque was built by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in the mid-17th century and is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Take a stroll around the mosque and soak in its grandeur and magnificence.

Day 2: Lahore Fort and Old City

Today you will explore the historic Lahore Fort and Old City. Start your day at the Lahore Fort, which dates back to the 16th century. You can spend hours exploring the various buildings and structures within the fort, from the Sheesh Mahal to the Jahangir Quadrangle. In the afternoon, head over to the Old City and take a walk through its narrow lanes. This lively neighbourhood is home to many bazaars, spice shops, and traditional food vendors, where you can sample some of Lahore’s signature delicacies.

Day 3: Museum Tour

Lahore has a rich history and culture, which can be seen in its many museums and galleries. Start your day with a visit to the Lahore Museum, which is home to over 20 galleries, showcasing everything from ancient artefacts to contemporary art. In the afternoon, head over to the Fakir Khana Museum, which is an extraordinary collection of art, antiques, and historical treasures. This museum is a private collection of one of Lahore’s most prominent families, and it is definitely worth a visit.

Day 4: Walled City Tour

Today you will take a comprehensive walking tour of Lahore’s Walled City. Start your day early and head over to the Delhi Gate. From there, you can visit the many historical sites of the Walled City, such as the Wazir Khan Mosque, the Shahi Hammam, and the Tomb of Dai Anga. Take a stop at the Food Street for lunch, where you can sample authentic Pakistani cuisine.

Day 5: Shopping Day

Lahore is a shopper’s paradise, and today you will have the whole day to indulge. Start your day at Liberty Market, a popular shopping destination with a wide variety of stores selling everything from clothing to footwear. In the afternoon, head over to the Anarkali Bazaar, the oldest bazaar in Lahore. Here you will find traditional clothing, jewellery, and textiles. End your day at the Packages Mall, a modern shopping centre with a wide variety of local and international brands.

Day 6: Day trip to Wagah Border

Today, you will take a day trip to the Wagah Border, located on the India-Pakistan border. Every evening, there is a flag-lowering ceremony, which is a must-see event. It is a highly charged patriotic spectacle, and the energy and enthusiasm of the crowd is infectious. You can experience the true spirit of Pakistan as you stand on this historic border.

Day 7: Departure

Today is your last day in Lahore. Before you depart, take one last stroll around the city and enjoy its rich history and vibrant culture. You can walk through the tree-lined streets of the Model Town neighbourhood, sip some chai at a roadside stall, and reflect on your amazing trip. Don’t forget to pick up some souvenirs to remind you of your wonderful time in Lahore.
