Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, you will be met by your transfer that will take you to your hotel. After checking in and getting settled, you can explore the surrounding area. You may want to consider walking down the Boulevard de Asia, which is one of Lima’s biggest shopping destinations. Take some time to witness how the locals go about their day and maybe even try some of the local foods.

Day 2: Historical Lima City Tour

On your second day in Lima, you will have the opportunity to experience a “Historical Lima City Tour”. This tour will give you an insight into Lima’s rich history, with stops at the Plaza Mayor (main square), The Government Palace, and the Monastery of San Francisco. You will also have the chance to see the famous Love Park located on the boardwalk of Miraflores, and the ancient ruins of Huaca Pucllana. The guide will give you detailed information about every place you visit and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions during the tour.

Day 3: Half-day Cooking Class

On day three of your trip to Lima, you will have a half-day cooking class, where you will learn how to cook some traditional Peruvian dishes. The class will be led by a professional chef and will be held at a local restaurant. You will learn how to make ceviche and other Peruvian dishes. You will also have the opportunity to taste a variety of Peruvian wines while enjoying the food you’ve cooked. It’s the perfect way to dive into the wonderful culture and flavors of Peru.

Day 4: Barranco and Pisco Tasting

On day four, you will visit the bohemian Barranco district, which is known for its charming vibe, colorful architecture, and street art. After exploring the sights and taking in some street snacks, you will visit a local Pisco distillery where you will learn about the process of making this national treasure. There will be a tasting of different Pisco varieties, including the delicious Pisco sour cocktail.

Day 5: Relaxation Day at Beach Club

Today is the day when you can just relax. There are a number of beach clubs around Lima where you can kick back and relax. You can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine and the beautiful coastline views. Food and drinks are available at the beach clubs and there’s nothing like sipping a cool drink while gazing out at the sea.

Day 6: Exploration of Lima’s Street Art

On day six, you will explore Lima’s street art scene. You can take a walking tour around the Barranco district and see some world-class street murals and art installations. There are also many independent galleries in Barranco showcasing local artists who are exploring Lima’s urban identity.

Day 7: Departure

On the final day of your trip to Lima, departures are usually in the afternoon or evening, allowing you some time to do some last-minute shopping or exploring in Lima. You can take a walk in a nearby park or head to your favorite attraction one last time before leaving Peru.
