Day 1: Arrival in Angeles City
Upon arrival at Clark International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Angeles City to check in and settle. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and its surroundings. For a good start, head over to Bonifacio Historic Circle to learn about the history of the Philippines, take a stroll around the park, and marvel over the iconic structures like the 108-foot flagpole towering over the center of the circle. Day 2: Shopping in SM City Clark
Spend your day exploring SM City Clark, the largest mall in the city. The mall features a wide range of shops selling everything from clothing, electronics, and souvenirs to local delicacies. You could also visit the Duty-Free shopping mall nearby. Enjoy Filipino delicacies and indulge in snacks at the food courts. As the sun goes down, head over to Fields Avenue, the nightlife hub of the city, to experience the vibrant nightlife.
Day 3: Pinatubo Day Tour
A visit to Angeles City is not complete without exploring Mt. Pinatubo, an active volcano situated just a few hours away from the city. On this guided tour, you can hike for 2-3 hours to the crater of the volcano, and be rewarded with fantastic views of the landscape. You could also visit the local Aeta community for a glimpse into their traditional lifestyle and knowledge about the volcanic rocks.
Day 4: Visit Nayong Pilipino Clark
Today, visit Nayong Pilipino Clark, a cultural theme park that showcases the Philippines’ cultural heritage. The park boasts of replicas of Philippine landmarks such as the Mayon Volcano, Banaue Rice Terraces, and Vigan Heritage Houses. The park has activities that showcase traditional Filipino activities such as bamboo rafting, the bahay kubo (hut) experience, and carabao caravan.
Day 5: Relaxing at Puning Hot Spring
Today, you can relax and rejuvenate yourself at the Puning Hot Spring. This active geothermal spring is nestled in the heart of the Zambales mountains and is surrounded by lush greenery. At Puno Hot Spring, you can enjoy the spa services, mud pack, volcanic ash, hot springs, and a refreshing dip into a river. This peaceful retreat offers respite from the bustle of the city.
Day 6: Explore Dinosaurs Island
Kick off your day with a visit to Dinosaurs Island, which accommodates modern animatronic life-sized dinosaurs designed to look as real as possible. For an admission fee, you can spend the whole day at the park and appreciate the prehistoric creatures. You can even take photos with them! Afterward, visit Clark Museum to learn about Clark Air Base’s historical importance to the Philippines and the United States.
Day 7: Departure
Your last day in Angeles City! If you have some time before your flight, you can head over to MarQuee Mall for a final shopping spree, try out local delicacies, or relax at the departing airport lounge.
