Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Day 2: Island Hopping

Start your day with an island hopping tour. This is one of the best ways to see the beauty of Puerto Princesa. There are plenty of tour companies that offer different packages with variations in the number of islands you can visit. You can try snorkeling in the various reefs or simply lying on the beach. Among some of the famous islands are Honda Bay, Cowrie Island or Starfish Island.

Day 3: Underground River Tour

Today you’ll explore the Puerto Princesa Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. The tour will start on Sabang beach then takes you to the underground river by boat. You will float through a cave system, surrounded by impressive rock formations and amazing wildlife, including bats and swiftlets.

Day 4: City Tour

Spend the day exploring Puerto Princesa city, starting with Immaculate Conception Cathedral, which is beautifully decorated. You can also visit Plaza Cuartel, a former military fortress, and Puerto Princesa City Baywalk Park. Evening can be spent at Kinabuchs Grill and Bar, one of the most famous restaurants in the city.

Day 5: Honda Bay Snorkeling

Spend the day snorkeling and exploring the colorful coral reefs in Honda Bay. Some popular spots in Honda Bay are Starfish Island, Luli Island, and Cowrie Island. You can enjoy swimming in crystal clear waters or try kayaking or banana boat rides.

Day 6: Ugong Rock and Mangrove Forest Tour

Explore the Ugong Rock and Mangrove Forest. Located just outside of Puerto Princesa, Ugong Rock is a towering limestone karst formation that offers a thrilling experience with a caving and ziplining activities. At the mangrove forest, you can take a boat ride and enjoy the lush scenery covered with thousands of mangrove trees.

Day 7: Departure

It’s time to say goodbye to Puerto Princesa! But before you leave, you can take some time to do some last-minute shopping at the city’s souvenir shops. You may also want to get a taste of some of the local delicacies such as Crocodile Sisig, Tamilok and Kinilaw na Tanigue.
