Day 1: Arrival and city exploration

Upon arrival, you should check into your hotel, freshen up and get ready to explore the city of Wrocław. Start your exploration by visiting the historic Market Square, one of the largest squares in Europe, surrounded by beautiful townhouses and colorful buildings with a long and vibrant history. Another must-visit place is the beautiful Wrocław Cathedral, located in Ostrow Tumski, which offers a stunning view of the city. While in Wrocław, take some time to also visit the vibrant Wrocław University, established in the early 1700s and regarded as one of the best universities in the country.

Day 2: Culture & History

Explore the rich history and culture of Wrocław by visiting some of its famous museums and galleries. Start with the National Museum, one of the oldest museums in Poland, which houses an impressive collection of fine art; including works by famous artists from Poland and Europe. The Museum of Architecture, located in the Old Town area, is a must-visit to see the marvelous Gothic buildings, Baroque churches, and Art Nouveau architectural marvels. Finally, take a trip to Centennial Hall, one of the largest and most significant edifices in Poland, and marvel at its history and architecture.

Day 3: Relaxation and Entertainment

Enjoy a relaxed day exploring the leisurely side of Wrocław. Begin by visiting the Wrocław Zoo, home to over 7,000 animals from all over the world. It is one of the oldest and most historic zoo in Poland. Later, take a stroll around the picturesque Szczytnicki Park and the Japanese Gardens, where you can relax amidst the vibrant flora while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. End your day with some entertainment at one of Wrocław’s popular local venues.

Day 4: Culinary Delights

Prepare to indulge in the delicious Wrocław culinary scene today. Start with breakfast at one of the prominent local cafes, and later head to Słodowa Island, which is home to some of the best restaurants and pubs in the city. Allow yourself to immerse in the local culture and try some of the traditional dishes like pierogi, kiełbasa and the famous żurek soup. Finally, sample some of the local beer and polish vodka that is well known throughout the world.

Day 5: Shopping Spree

Time to shop till you drop on Wrocław’s famous shopping streets like Świdnicka Street and Rynek. Take a ferry ride across the Oder River and visit the Hala Targowa market to buy some local produce like smoked cheese, honey, jam and other assorted goodies. Furthermore, check out the Galeria Dominikańska and Magnolia Park, which are some of the largest shopping malls in the city.

Day 6: Day-Trip to Karkonosze Mountains

Make the most of your time in Poland by taking a day-trip to the Karkonosze Mountains. The mountains are located in a nearby national park and the region is renowned for its stunning landscapes, flora and fauna trails to hike, and excellent skiing in the winter. Take the cable car to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view from one of the observation points. At the end of the day, return to Wrocław and enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee from one of the many cosy cafes.

Day 7: Final Day

On your final day, take some time to visit the magnificent Ostrów Tumski, the oldest part of the city and considered Poland’s spiritual capital. Take your time to visit the impressive Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and other churches located in the vicinity. End your trip by indulging in some souvenir shopping from the lovely souvenir shops around the city and a final meal at one of the city’s popular local restaurants.
