Day 3: Discover The Belem District And Its Impressive Tower

This neighbourhood is famous for its historical architecture such as the Tower of Belém, a 16th-century structure that is considered one of the most beautiful particularly from an architectural point of view, an emblematic representation of the Portuguese Discoveries period. Then visit Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the country’s most prominent religious institutions. Lastly, enjoy sampling the world-famous pastel de nata (custard tart) which has its origins in the area.

Day 4: Visit Lisbon’s Modern Side

Today, catch a glimpse of Lisbon’s modernity in various shopping districts and Belem Cultural Centre, which hosts various temporary exhibitions year-round. Afterward, visit the Oriente Station, one of Lisbon’s most striking modern structures, and see why it architecturally resonates with the city.

Day 5: Head to the nearby town of Sintra

After a quick breakfast, head north-west of Lisbon to Sintra to explore its stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Palácio da Pena which served as a summer residence for the monarchs of Portugal. So have an opportunity to visit the Castelo dos Mouros, a castle that was originally built in the 8th century and refurbished in the 19th century. Take a stroll through the historic town centre before heading back to your hotel.

Day 6: Take a food and Drink Tour

Today, satisfy your cravings and take a food and drink tour which will introduce you to the range of traditional dishes, flavors, and flavors of Portugal, and sip on a selection of local wines. Your tour will include stops at the famous local food market and intimate wine bars in the city centre.

Day 7: Farewell Lisbon
