Day 1: Arrival in Dorado

Day 2: El Yunque National Forest and Luquillo Beach
Start your day with a visit to the beautiful El Yunque National Forest. This rainforest is home to unique flora and fauna such as the endangered Puerto Rican Parrot. Hike through the lush forests to the peaks of El Yunque or explore the many waterfalls dotted throughout the park. Day 3: Old San Juan
Today, take a trip to Old San Juan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 30 minutes away from Dorado. Explore the colorful streets and learn about the history of Puerto Rico by visiting the many museums and forts in the area. Take a stroll down the famous Paseo de la Princesa, visit the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista or stroll along the cobblestone streets of this historic district, taking in the stunning architecture and views of the harbor. Day 4: Bioluminescent Bay Tour
Embark on a nighttime bioluminescent bay tour, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will leave you in wonder. The bioluminescence comes from microscopic marine plankton that emit a bright glow whenever they are disturbed. Watch as fish swim awash with light and kayak through the waters while they glow in the dark. The tour will last for around two hours and is sure to be a highlight of your Dorado trip.
Day 5: Catamaran Day Trip
Wake up early and set off for a Catamaran day trip. Fajardo, just a few minutes away from Dorado, is the launching point for many exciting tours and adventures around the beautiful waters of Puerto Rico. On this day trip, sail along the coastline while you soak up the sun and take in the beautiful surroundings. You can also enjoy water activities like snorkeling, swimming or relax on board, enjoying the beautiful views across the sea. You will return in the evening.
Day 6: Dorado Strip
Take time to relax and explore the shops along the popular Dorado Strip, which is home to many restaurants, bars, and shops. You can find shops selling handmade jewelry, souvenirs, and artisanal handicrafts. As evening falls, this area comes alive with a bustling nightlife, so take the time to experience one of the many bars or nightclubs in the area.
Day 7: Departure
On your last day in Dorado, spend time enjoying the beautiful beach in the morning, before having breakfast and checking out of your accommodation. If you have time visit the Dorado Reef Reserve, the only reef of Puerto Rico in the northern region, a fantastic spot with a great variety of marine life.
