Day 1: Arrival and Beach Day
Welcome to Rincon, Puerto Rico! Upon arrival at Aguadilla Airport, you will be transported to your hotel. After settling in, you can head to your first stop, the beautiful Sandy Beach. Relax on the white sand, take a dip in the crystal clear water, and watch the sunset with a refreshing drink in hand. Be sure to indulge in some coconut water and try some of the delicious local pina coladas.
Day 2: Paddleboarding and Rincon Lighthouse
Start your day with paddleboarding at the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve. Not only will you get a great workout, but you’ll also have the opportunity to see the beautiful coral reefs and many species of tropical fish. After paddling, head to the Rincon Lighthouse. This historic lighthouse was built in 1912 and is one of the most iconic landmarks in Puerto Rico. Climb the spiral staircase for an amazing view of the ocean.
Day 3: Snorkeling and Waterfall Tour
Today’s adventure takes you on a snorkeling trip to Desecheo Island. Enjoy viewing the colorful marine life and the various coral formations while snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. After snorkeling, take a tour of the Gozalandia Waterfall. Here you can swim in the cool, refreshing water and enjoy the breathtaking view of the waterfall.
Day 4: Rincon Art Walk and Farmers Market
Wake up early for a morning stroll along the Rincon Art Walk, where you can admire and purchase original artwork by local artists. Afterward, visit the Rincon Farmers Market. This outdoor market features local products such as fresh fruits, vegetables, coffee, and homemade artisan goods. Don’t forget to try some of the homemade hot sauce blends.
Day 5: Horseback Riding on the Beach and Ponce City Tour
Begin your day with an early morning horseback ride on the beautiful Playa Higuero. Afterward, head to Ponce, known as the Pearl of the South. Here you will visit the historical landmarks, the Ponce Cathedral and the Serralles Castle. You’ll also have the opportunity to indulge in the local cuisine and shop at the local boutiques.
Day 6: Deep-Sea Fishing and Rincon Town Tour
Experience the excitement of deep-sea fishing in Rincon, where you can catch fish such as marlin, tuna, and mahi-mahi. Afterward, take a tour through the historic town of Rincon. Visit the Punta Higuera Light House and learn the history of Rincon, a once-sleepy fishing village that is now a popular tourist destination.
