Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Welcome to Bucharest! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can check in and settle down. Since it’s your first day, you might consider spending time relaxing and getting rejuvenated for the days ahead. Bucharest offers many excellent spas, like Therme Bucuresti, which is the largest wellness and entertainment centre in Europe. You can start the day with a refreshing massage or a dip in the pool and enjoy the many other wellness activities that Therme has to offer, including saunas, steam baths and thermal pools.

Day 2: Discovering Historical Landmarks

Bucharest is a city full of history and cultural landmarks, and there is no better place to start discovering its history than the Palace of the Parliament. This palace, one of the iconic buildings of Romania and the largest administrative building in the world, is a must-visit attraction. After visiting the palace, you can take a walk in the Revolution Square where you can see the Revolution Memorial and the former Royal Palace, which now houses the National Art Museum of Romania. In the evening, head to the Old Town, also known as the Lipscani district, where you can enjoy the local cuisine and street musicians.

Day 3: Exploring Nature

Now it’s time for you to take a break from the cityscape and explore the nature of this beautiful country. Start your day by visiting the Herastrau Park, the largest city park in Bucharest, where you can take a walk, run, or rent a bicycle to explore the park. Inside the park, you will find the Village Museum, a unique open-air museum that showcases the traditional architecture and culture of Romania. After visiting the museum, you can head to the Cismigiu Gardens, a lovely green oasis, and take a boat ride on the lake.

Day 4: Visiting Monasteries

Today, you can discover the spiritual side of Bucharest by visiting some of the historical monasteries. The Stavropoleos Monastery, a quiet and serene place nestled in the heart of the Old Town, is a great place to start your day. Its beautiful architecture and religious paintings will leave you mesmerized. Next, you can visit the Cotroceni Palace and Monastery, a former royal palace and a now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, you can head to the Caru’ cu bere restaurant, one of the oldest and most famous restaurants in Bucharest, and enjoy the local cuisine and culture.

Day 5: Day Trip to Brasov and Dracula Castle

Today, you can take a day trip to Brasov and visit the famous Dracula Castle. Located in the heart of Romania, Brasov is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains and lush green forests. After arriving in Brasov, take a short drive to visit the Bran Castle, which is said to be the home of the legendary vampire Count Dracula. After the visit, head back to Brasov’s Town Square, where you can explore the beautiful architecture and enjoy the local cuisine.

Day 6: Shopping and Drinks

Today, you can indulge in some retail therapy and discover the shopping culture of Bucharest. Bucharest has many shopping centres, but the Baneasa Shopping City and the ParkLake Shopping Center are the most popular. After shopping, head to the Control Club, a popular nightclub, and enjoy the local music scene. If you are looking for something more low-key, visit the Linea/Closer to the Moon rooftop bar, which offers a spectacular view of the city.

Day 7: Departure

Today is your last day in Bucharest. After breakfast, you can take a stroll along the Calea Victoriei, one of the most picturesque streets in the city, and buy some souvenirs for your friends and family.
