Trip to Canaries, Saint Lucia

Day 1: Arrival

Welcome to Canaries, Saint Lucia! On your first day, you will check in at your hotel and settle in. After taking some time to rest, head out to explore the city. Visit the Derek Walcott Square, a historic park that has preserved the memory of Saint Lucia’s Nobel laureate poet and writer. Marvel at the beauty of the Morne Fortune, a UNESCO World Heritage site offering scenic views of the island. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many local restaurants.

Day 2: Soufriere

On your second day, visit Soufriere, one of the most scenic and oldest towns in Saint Lucia. Start by visiting the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, a natural spa where you can enjoy a soothing bath in the warm mineral waters while surrounded by nature. Then, go on a scenic drive to the Sulphur Springs Park, the world’s only drive-in volcano. Take a guided tour and learn about the history and geology of the area. End your day with a visit to Petit Piton, a towering mountain jutting out of the sea, offering stunning sunset views.

Day 3: Beach Day

Enjoy a relaxing day on the beach. Saint Lucia is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Head to Anse Chastanet and enjoy its sparkling blue waters and soft sand. You can also go snorkelling or scuba diving to explore the exotic marine life. After a day of sun and fun, head to the vibrant Rodney Bay area for some nightlife and partying.

Day 4: Castries Market

On your fourth day, visit the Castries Market, a colorful and bustling outdoor market that is a hub of activity and a great place to shop for souvenirs. Enjoy browsing through local crafts, fruits, and vegetables. Then, visit the Fort Rodney historic site, where you can learn about the island’s colonial past and enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.

Day 5: Pigeon Island National Park

Spend the day at Pigeon Island National Park, a 44-acre park located on a peninsula that was once a military stronghold. The park has two beautiful beaches, nature trails, and plenty of wildlife to discover. Climb up to the fort on top of the island for amazing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 6: Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party

On your sixth day, experience the Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party. Every Friday night, the streets of Gros Islet come alive with music, dancing, food, and drink. Join the locals and visitors in celebrating the end of the week by sampling local food and drink, listening to live music, and dancing the night away.

Day 7: Departure

Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to Saint Lucia. On your final day, take some time to pack up and check out of your hotel. Reflect on your trip and all the amazing experiences you had. Depending on your flight time, you may have some time to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before leaving the island.
