Trip to Cupecoy Bay, Saint Martin

Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

Welcome to Cupecoy Bay, Saint Martin! Upon arrival, you can check into your hotel and relax after the travel. Start by taking a walk on the beach or sunbathing while watching the sea. In the evening, visit the nearby restaurants where you can enjoy the signature Caribbean cuisine and try some frozen cocktails.

Day 2: Shopping and Site-seeing in Philipsburg

Philipsburg, the capital of Dutch Saint Martin, is just a 25-minute drive from Cupecoy Bay. Visit the bustling Front Street that has a wide array of shops, including duty-free stores where you can buy souvenirs. The Great Bay Beach and Boardwalk are both excellent locations for shopping as well. You can also visit the Philipsburg Courthouse and Historical Museum to learn more about the island’s history. In the evening, head back to Cupecoy Bay and enjoy a stroll on the beach.

Day 3: Discover the Maho Beach

Maho Beach is a popular spot for tourists, mainly due to the aircraft that fly very low over the beach. You can either hit the beach and watch the planes, or you can spot them from Sunset Bar and Grill. Head to the Sunset Bar and Grill mid-afternoon and grab a cocktail before you head back out to watch planes fly overhead. In the evening, you can try your hand in a little gambling in one of the nearby casinos in Maho.

Day 4: Day Trip to Pinel Island

Take a day trip to Pinel Island, located in the northeast of Saint Martin. Spend your day at the calm and sheltered waters of the Island that offer some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. You can rent a kayak or paddleboard on the island. Alternatively, you can also sunbathe on one of the picturesque beaches or hike around the island. The beachside restaurants offer delicious fresh seafood, so be sure to grab a bite by the sea.

Day 5: Day Trip to Anguilla Island

Anguilla Island, located in the northeast of Cupecoy Bay, is a British territory and a stunning tropical paradise. Take a ferry from Marigot on the French side, and spend your day on one of the Island’s pristine beaches with turquoise blue waters. You can also go snorkeling, diving, or visit the Heritage Collection Museum to learn about the Island’s rich history. In the evening, watch the sunset before heading back to Cupecoy Bay.

Day 6: Day trip to Saint Barthélemy Island

Located in the northwest of Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy (St. Barts) is a luxurious and chic island unlike any other. Spend your day exploring the 17 beaches with silver-white sand, go shopping at up-scale boutique stores or grab a bite at one of the many world-class restaurants. If you’re interested in the Island’s history, make sure to visit one of the museums, including the Musée Territorial and the Wall House Museum.

Day 7: Farewell and Departure

On your last day in St Martin, take the time to enjoy a relaxing time on the beach. You can also visit some of the nearby restaurants or bars before you leave.
